There are 25 Staff applications and I do think you guys can use the extra help. I know you're probably waiting until next Staff meeting but I don't think it would be terrible if some apps got accepted/denied this weekend when Devinity hits its peak for the week.

We do keep an eye on staff apps, we're sort of capable on doing things eventually and this thread is sort of pointless. Regardless, thanks for pointing this out? We'll get round to doing it soon.

You keep an eye on staff apps yet the last time any staff apps were accepted or denied was August 15. Thats nearly a month. What time frame is best for you if a month isnt?

This thread is pointless in what way? Are you telling me I should refrain from friendly reminders? If so I find that very offensive.

I hope someone can get around to it soon because I find playing on flood to be a bit of a challenge with the recent amount of people breaking large rules like prop pushing, no recoil and sabotage and the ban request forum sure doesn't go much faster than the staff app section.

Friendly reminders are fine but making a thread about it isn't the best way to do it, messaging us privately works just as well and we don't end up with a thread in the Flood subforum that most people will never post in. I also find it slightly 'offensive' that you felt that I (and over staff) needed reminding to do our job. Regardless we'll get round to doing them soon.

Glad to hear that you would be receptive to friendly reminders. I'll keep that in mind.

In reguards to friendly reminders in public threads, perhaps its not "the best" solution and probably not the "friendliest" solution. It does however show your fellow community that you do indeed respond well to issues because if you were to neglect this thread I do fear there would be a slight uproar, much more so than neglecting a few PM's. By creating a thread I'm ensuring that my message doesn't get overlooked/forgotten about. I am very familiar with the PM system and I know how to properly utilize it.

I don't ever recall telling you how to do your job? Please show me where. I have always found that you guys were very reliable when it came to doing your job. Otherwise I would flat out say it. Hence the friendly reminder.

Your point is only justified if we would neglect a PM regarding staff apps, which we wouldn't do, we don't just forget/overlook PMs and it's far better to suggest that we do something like this by PM as I said in my previous post because this is borderline spam as it has almost no discursive value. This thread doesn't even work to show that we respond to issues, it only shows that we take into account every suggestion that we are given, something that I should hope the entire community already knows.

There were more than a few occasions when I have had to contact higher tier administration to get things done and those things were just swept under the rug. (EG: There was multiple times where I had to do the staff apps myself because nobody would help and hen I gave credit to the people in question). If that were not the case then this thread would not be here in the first place. I'm honestly very tired of trying and, trying and, trying again to get things done in a manner where they can be simply pushed aside. You can't speak for everyone and you may be better at handling things privately but my personal experiences differ from what you're telling me.

Why does this thread not work for responding to issues? Is that not what a forum is for... Discussing things? How does that make this thread "boarderline spam?" Would you have preferred me to have made it an issue instead? This thread was made so that the higher Administration knew that there are people waiting for comments on whether their staff app is accepted or denied. Simple. I would much rather know my app was denied now than to find out a month later and THEN have to wait another month to reapply. Thats silly. Granted I can't speak for everyone in this case.

I also don't believe its any debate that any suggestions here are not taken into account. It's practically a selling point in this community but some things just slip through the cracks. So I now prefer to discuss it publicly rather than privately for all to see.

I want to argue but I honestly don't think it's worth my time anymore to write out an enormous wall of text. I think that it would've just been better for you to message myself (Can't speak for the other staff) about this and I would've organized doing them soonish myself (It's a good point and we need to do them but you could've done it in a better way.
