In Devinity, there is this random event call Juggernaut.This event is one of my favorites, but there is one flaw to it. When you are on the juggernaut side, you are not given a harpoon. Why a harpoon? Usually while I am on the juggernaut side, I run out of awp ammo, and only have my para left. The thing is that, the enemy can be far away from you, and you have to try to kill him with the para. That is really really difficult, especially with the massive recoil on the weapon. Usually we just have to sit there and wait till the round end, or they destroy our boat. I was thinking if you could give the juggernaut harpoons, to make it a bit easier, instead of having to sit there. Love- Pokemon trainer.
I believe this was brought up already and it just got pushed to the back burner. Honestly I believe Juggs should have thrusters as well as harpoons, but currently thrusters are still broken. Maybe @Donkie can put some clarification on this?
Donkie has yet to provide acknowledgement on the thrusters' progress. Asking Bayrock to help us would work instead. Supplying Juggernauts with harpoons wouldn't be a bad idea either.
@Donkie Jugg rounds suck because juggs have a limited amount of ammo on their AWP and have no harpoons so they can't move around and shiz. They just use their ammo and then try and crossmap with an LMG
Juggs are very under powered which is the opposite of what I wanted when I initially brought up the idea last year. Over half of the matches end with the juggs loosing and that should not happen so often. They need to be difficult, but still possible to beat. I would shoot for a 50/50 win/loss ratio when it comes to this. Fixing this issue then maybe adding unlimited ammo for the AWP would help out.
I would not thinking, adding unlimited ammo for the juggs is a good idea. If they do then they would not need the harpoons, and they can just sit there sniping everyone. I suggest to keep the same ammo for the juggs and just add harpoons.
Not to send this thread into another direction, but juggernauts would most likely win if they created a huge boat or if the sailors (most of them that had rpgs/grenades) made one boat that was close to the juggs
I posted about this in April in the suggestions thread which is now archived, even suggesting adding harpoons and bug bait.
accepted means it's a good idea and will be implemented whenever time comes around. I'm stocked with college atm, go bash Bay.
I've been held hostage by a sinus infection for a few weeks now. I have a doctor appointment scheduled for tomorrow, so I expect to rebound. I'll take this suggestion under my wing for you, and push it out with the next patch. I'll set a milestone for the next update in our tracker to help focus attention. I'll try to include any other suggestions that were neglected in the meantime.
i've heard sinus infections are really weak, just aim for the head when you spit at them, they'll die
