Ban Appeal for "emma rowley is bae" / apoc

I am emma rowley is bae and would like to say I did NOT use profane language nor did I intentionally prop block your boat. I told you I need the water to flip it and you still put your boat there. The images are merely taking out of context, I could go into detail as to why I wasn't holding it but you would call me a liar so I won't even make a statement about it. Besides I did have the room first. You also made very insulting remarks at me while I politely asked you to leave the room. In the process I stated "fine if you don't leave don't complain if my boat hits you or your boat a few times" Note that my statement did not say I would intentionally attempt to block or push your person or items. You also continued to harass me throughout the rest of the time you were on. He harassed me and my friend with vocal communications *so for whoever said provide proof of that its f**king impossible.

He also used derogatory words against me as I and my friend refrained from using

 

ALSO Breach is probably just frustrated by the fact I destroyed his boat with grenades pretty much every round

 

This is all hearsay, you have provided NO PROOF as it was stated in your ban request thread. Regardless it is only a temporary ban, I believe 1 or 2 days (ask @jeffreythe00) and will be lifted soon. If you did not do anything wrong like you said, then you must submit proof. If however you did do something wrong and are just trying to talk your way out of the ban, then know that it will not work and you can use this time out to consider what you've done and how to avoid getting banned in the future.

I just wanted to pop in and post a few comments.

When I said to post an unban request. Thats exactly what I meant. Usually an unban request works by either accepting or denying that you broke the rules with a brief description along with any evidence you may have. Witnesses unfortunately don't count on any good online community for the simple fact, its too easy to forge witnesses. If the witness was a credible one, then perhaps but in 90% of cases the witness are not credible enough for it to count.

Not to be harsh here but ignoring the fact you have no evidence here. All I see is a bunch of posts toward breach. I wouldn't consider it much of an unban request. Which is fine with me if you need to vent, but please try to do it in a coherent format and not in the unban section.

Which brings me to my last point. Perhaps some people just aren't familiar with the types of unban request formats we like to see. So perhaps I'll make up a template.

Apoc, please don't take what I say to heart. We're not here to be douches to our players and in most cases can be sweyed by simple reason. Just try to be a bit formal about stuff like this. I definitely think you could have done better on the unban request. Anyway, looks like your ban is almost over anyway. Perhaps if you message @Rick he would be kind enough to lift it early.

Sorry for the rant like behavior. The way things went just angered me. Especially since I spent so much time getting all the guns and such.

 

I always tell people to never be sorry for their actions. Instead learn from them and in return, you may better yourself. I also can absolutely understand why you would be upset over this. I would probably feel the same way if I were in your shoes, but I understand that the world is not perfect and sometimes you get the shit end of the stick. Again, I do suggest messaging @Rick about this. Sometimes it can make a world of difference. Just remember that we do have lives too, so don't pester us.

Anyway, as I mentioned before, this is the unban request section. Not a discussion section. Do you have anything else you'd like to add before I lock this thread?

 

Hello there Apoc,

For this thread, I'm actually going to believe your argument.

Whilst I do understand your frustration, it's never great to go about stating that you didn't do things as if they are 100% fact without any evidence, I've been genuinely wrongfully banned on servers before, and you usually come across as more respectful and patient if you act a little calmer, and especially if you don't make accusations that the opposition has broken rules towards you yourself.

In the future I would like you to remember three things.

1) Act calmer when you're appealing a ban, if you start making claims it might make you come across as arrogant.
2) If somebody is breaking rules and ruining your gameplay, don't retaliate, just report them and be the bigger man.
3) Try to not make it appear as if you are breaking rules in game, because things like this can happen.


Purely because you have made this appeal, and thus show an intrest in playing on our servers here at Devinity, I have actually reduced your three day ban by 12 hours.

I hope to see you in game soon, and try to stay out of trouble in the future!
