Chairs This could be a VIP item that allows teams to have chairs on the boat thus they wont sink through it if they lag on the water rising and while one harpoons the others can sit in a seat to not fly off the chairs are destoryable
That seems really over powered, you can't fall off your boat, but you can just sit in a chair. A point of flood is trying to stay on your boat after it gets really messed up, chairs would completely ruin that aspect of it.
yeah but the chairs are destoryable and its not like they can sit on the chairs the whole match they have to shoot to save the props
Right but still, you could make a boat that you're not able to stand on at all, but because you can sit in a chair, it's fine.
I like the idea of interactive chairs, but I've held back from bringing it up previously because configuring them to work would likely detract too much time and the payoff would be minor. Nonetheless if chairs were to be added, they ought to be balanced in the following way:
How about we make it so the chair cannot be welded? It would have to be set on a flat surface and could tilt or fall over if not balanced correctly?
What would be the point of having the chair then? Might as well just stand they if you have to balance it.
This is why It's a VIP thing. It's to make them feel special by having something that other players don't have that also doesn't give them a gameplay advantage.
This is a (from a technical point of view) dumb idea, and won't go well at all with the shoddy physics of the source engine.
Yeah I can now see how bugged it could be if we used the chairs that are already offered seemed like a good idea at first because people usually lag through the boat as water is rising thanks for the feedback donkie
