I mean $50 for 223 HP, that is a significant amount for that cheap rather than $200 for 255 hp and 150 for 191 hp, $50 for 85, $100 for 140 and etc. Possibly increase its weight so only 4 barriers could be lifted up with the vending machine (or decrease the vending's floating amount) and increase price to around $150 for $223 and influence people to buy the couch or any other 'buffed' props. *** Props needs to be tweaked because most of them aren't being used. *** EDIT: Also a Limit would be great. Also 4: 3 stacks of every concrete and its still floating. RIP Garry's Mod Physics
You didn't show that boat with its weight offset. Surely if you remove 3 barriers on a single side the boat will be extremely unstable and perhaps unusable.
It is still usable if you just put a little bit of balance between it. Just twist the boat and let them attack it from there.
sounds like a good idea to have maybe a lower limit or something and to make the weight a bit heavier
Hmm. I'm not sure. I've always had issues with concrete barriers and soda machines tipping at a 45 degree angle.
I could just spawn next to you and take out the vending machines and your dead. also 1 rocket and some will fall off same with grenades. and yes they do tip over when unbalanced on one side they are not very stable either they will keep you shaking or spinning. yes they would tip if they got attacked on one side his boat would flip. plus that boat is a one person boat two people on that boat would sink it.
Either way, I think prop prices should be balanced more since the concrete is 'overpowered' than what it usually is. The Concrete is ~600 LBs so I think it should be 1/2 the amount the weight of the footlocker we have in Flood, so only 4 barriers can balance it but have very little stability. Even if you aren't close to me and don't grenade me, if you really think about it, it takes about almost more than half of the round to get rid of all of the barriers if you keep on twisting the vending machine around. EDIT: If you do the math, it is very cheap to build. Vending Machine (300) x 2 = 600 + Concrete Barrier (50) x 12 (3 on each side) = 1200. You get about 3-5k if you survive the entire round and deal about 1.5-2.25k worth of damage. EDIOIIT: Also I think 4 on each side will still be stable.
The only boat ever used now is the concrete soda one, would be nice for some change like my book case boat, instead of 6 of the same boat...
The limit in my opinion should be 4 and the price should increase so they don't have to use that multi layering with the cash blocks as well. EDIT:
100% agree, a 150+ price tag and only 4-6 is good, maybe there should be a thread for props and you can talk about which ones need nerfs or buffs, which would be great for things like this.
I think all props should be rebalanced like 3/4th its price compared to the health EG) 300 HP ---> $225 Concrete: 223 HP ---> ~$167 Locker: 649 HP ---> $486 Just round decimal to nearest tenth place and such. Props should also have an odd number pricing as well instead of most of it being even. Probably like adding $15 for 'tax' and events like Team Round or Haste, the Tax Value doesn't get added. I can also help with prices/buoyancy management if a thread is being brought up.
Lockers dont need to have higher price, as its already so heavy its pretty much only used in tower rounds (A few exceptions here and there, but most boats with them fail), so making its price higher doesnt make since, other wise making prop price 3/4 of its health is a good idea, cause higher health items woulnt be used as much, making people want to save money and use small ones, would make for interesting boats.
Oops, I never paid attention to the amount the locker is worth, I dont use any thing that isnt in the 'wood' catagorie unless its the dark metal windowed plates.
The concrete should be as heavy or heavier than a locker. If you've ever tried to lift up a concrete chunk you would know that shit is heavy.
They use concrete road blocks to stop cars from going into dangerous places because of war. If that shit can stop a car and still not move, how can you add a simple vending machine and make it buoyant enough to float?
I think it should be definitely heavier but not like the locker. Probably like 5/8th the weight for it.
