Accepted Ability to remove default weapons

    I don't know about you guys but sometimes it feels I have too many weapons and it would help if I could remove the smg and the pistol.
    maybe add an option in the settings called remove default weapons.

    There was a discussion about this before. The default weapons prevent people from running out of ammo during the round. This would be a big issue.

    If they apparently need the default weapons, they should type in a command like /resupply or just auto equip when you got very few guns remaining.

    Yeah it won't be a default setting you only select it if you have lots of guns and don't need the smg and pistol coming in the way when you are trying to find the weapon you want.

    I think we should be able to simply holster weapons we don't use in the store. So we could have Buy, Sell, and holster as options. Holstering a weapon would take it out of your weapon selections and could be re-equipped at anytime. I generally have issues with taking forever to get to the weapon I want because I have so many weapons to go through.

    That is a great idea! I think being able to holster your weapons should at least make scrolling through the weapon page more easier and user-friendly. However, I think this suggestion will only benefit experienced players with tons of weapons in their hands. Newcomers won't see much change in gameplay, if you ask me.

    Just keep the weapons there, it doesn't matter if there's 2 default weapons there or not. We don't need a who new command if you run out of ammo because you de-equip the default weapons. This takes a decent amount of work to implement and it's really useless, it's only two weapons people, get over it. It has also been discussed numerous times now, please use the search function before making a thread.

    Please read my whole post please. Changing anything about the weapons is stupid, it's two weapons. There's much better things to code in that actually matter.

    That's your opinion which has been outweighed by the looks of it. Donkie decides what's more important for him to code as well as Bayrock when he is up for it. If they like the idea or if enough people show support for it, more than likely it will move up on their priority list. Besides a Holster command is hardly difficult. It's used on many other servers for weapons and we already use it for store items basically.

    We're on this thread to voice opinions, that was mine. That's all I personal thought about this topic. An opinion is really what these threads are for. We speculate, come up with ideas, voice our opinions, and then Donkie/Bayrock chooses what to do.

    I think it a great idea. There should be an options to removed/holster it, same goes for a lot of stuff e.g Player Model, we should able to holster them.

    Player models and hats already do holster in a way. when you equip a player model your previous one is holstered.

    Ya, That is one way to do it, but you can't completely holster them. There should option to completely holster your Player models or your hats etc.
