Apologies for the delay in updating the prior post, but I added a stint that expresses my appreciation for the polite discussion that has so far been handled well. Pressing issues such as abortion are likely to rile up some quite fervently.
Yeah, I do agree on that. I am quite neutral on the case of abortion, since both parties have raised valid arguments with regards to this topic. Furthermore, abortion is a tricky business; it involves morality, ethics and personal freedom.
Seriously though, I wanna know when someone decided to start doing that. You don't learn that shit in school, at least I would hope not.
Thanks for giving me one of the most terrible nostalgia flashbacks of myself (jk). I've already posted my face, so that's no longer an "annoyance" but I would probably have to say, and one of the most predominant issues today: food wasters. I've seen a lot of people do it, specifically in schools and it just really irks me off when people gets food (especially if it's free) just to throw it away. I don't know what the motive is but it's extremely baffling to waste American tax dollars and food like that in general. It's fine if you don't eat all of it but what the fuck man lol
Necroing annoys me. Also @counter the reason people waste that food is because "one portion fits all" is always going to leave some people overfed. If I am being given a set amount of food by the state and I can't or don't want to eat it why should you be annoyed at the individual? Surely the systems which supply the food should be the source of your annoyance.
It seems pretty redundant making an entirely new thread when you can just post on an existing one--as long as the content still retains relevancy--to the forum topic and especially if you consider the previous circumstance of our forums until recently where we start to encourage it again. I would like to believe that necroposting had pretty much lost all of its value a long time ago, I just don't really see an issue with bumping a discussion thread and allowing some flexibility for newer community members to get involved in the platform. Maybe I would understand with some old Flood topic or something that is no longer relevant to today's standards in regards to news, politics, etc, but I don't see the whole point in making another thread unless if that's what the forums are meant to be. Would like some clarifying factor on that if you don't mind I agree with part of your sentiment, I was just more proponent against people (in the school system) who deliberately throws food away after they just got it. Our school system also donates the leftovers for some charity stuff, so I guess that's another influencing factor that brings me off in the wrong spot about high schoolers
