Yo I say we get rid of the stupid trucing rule. It's way too complicated and causes way too many complaints. What's the point in having the trucing rule anyway, because, I see no point right now.
If you see no point the the trucing rule then there is also no point in the team limit, i think they should keep the trucing rule in case there are large groups of people not shooting at each other.
No. Trucing and being on the same team are completely different, in the factor that each person could still shoot each other. If large groups of people are not shooting each other and they're the last people alive, they're delaying. There's a rule for that, they'll be banned then.
I suggest we go back to the old ways and just not allow teams to truce with each other. For individual truces maybe we should have regulations or something.
Yeah, I like that a lot. Because if they're five friends and none of them are on a team, if they're the last five standing then they would have to kill each other or they're breaking a rule.
this would not be the first time we change it. Afaik the way we have it now we got to just because it was the easiest way.
It's not the easiest way in my opinion, because everyone gets so confused by the whole what's a truce and what's not a truce.
I agree with you because some players shoot the first player that shoots them or the bigger target so if there is someone right next to you but they have a simple/small boat or any weapons at all so they won't do as much damage as some other players.
Actually, I am quite in favour for Silver's suggestion. We either reach a common understanding and definition between all staffs with regards to this rule or simply abolish it since it is difficult to enforce it properly at times. Make or break. I will probably return to this topic later though, gonna go sleep now.
Nah it's worth the hassle imo. You weren't here when we didn't have the trucing rule, there were so many people who would truce and always win because they had so many people together. There is a reason there is a team function with limits to the number of people on a team per number of players and that is so it keeps it fair with everyone else.
It's not worth a hassle, literally if I wanted to I could probably post a page full of player reports in one day of playing about people trucing because it happens so often with this horribly generalized rule. It will never be really unfair, because think about this. Teams can not truce with anybody, so if you want to truce, you must be a lone wolf trucing with other lone wolves. So even if you are a pack-a-punch'd team of like 7-8, which will happen ULTRA rarely, in the end you will all still need to kill each other, otherwise you're delaying.
