Being too authoritarian with warning levels?

Hi all, I was recently warned for this post.



I've been refused in my requests to remove this in a vey abraisive and incredibly unproffestional way but that's a story for another day. Hint dawson shouldn't be admin hint

Anyway do you guys s members of the community feel that this enforcement of the "rules" has gone too far and they're no longer used for what they should be and rather used too intrusively by countercraftz and the like? (He seems to be warning people for the sake of warning people) when the actual stuff isn't really doing any harm.

 

yeah after seeing the pms, i feel like @CounterCraftz is taking this comment way too seriously and i personally think he's just doing it to get rick butthurt given theres practically no other explanation

first of all, it's ricks opinion, he thought akemis threads were dumb and the threads weren't constructive at all which made him think he wouldn't be ready for staff. it can be constructive- just stop making stupid threads and be more mature, whats the issue here?

second, you can't just say "stop being so mean!!" counter told rick to use euphemisms instead of being direct with the word dumb because it's "rude". wtf is this? since when has devinity become so family friendly where you cant even use the word "dumb" to describe posts on the internet? he wasn't even calling akemi dumb, he was calling his damn posts dumb. if akemi got offended that's not his damn fault, i even made a post related to this way back but i guess no one really cared..?\

you guys called rick salty all the damn time to the point where it became a meme, we all use the term faggot a lot, decap straight up called rick an asshole, etc etc

but when rick mentions someones posts are dumb, everyone loses their shit? lol ok

this whole thing is blatant loopholing of the rules just to get rick butthurt, nothing else. the rule where you cannot harass others is being so loopholed to the point where you cant call other posts dumb as a way of feedback. the rule is to prevent people from calling each other racial slurs and personal insults, not to prevent this


then dawson said that this whole thing isn't rick's business (even though it 100% fucking is, hes being warned and his post was removed for no reason) and straight out told counter to ignore rick being that he isn't "worth the time and stress". if this doesnt prove how corrupt devinity is, idk what can. i mean its to the point where an admin is telling another admin to not do their job because it isnt worth the time and stress instead of dealing with the situation at hand, pretty professional stuff here

if this doesn't get resolved and is deemed not "worth the time and stress" im reporting every fucking post i see with any word with negative conotation. seems fair according to counter's reasoning

i dont like how devinity is turning family friendly and jeffrey even stated this a while back. what's going on here?

i also hate that only biased staff members against rick handled this situation

I completely agree. I know I'm just a member and I can't change this but when I saw this on my staff app, I wasn't disgusted with his toxic behavior. The threads I posted where absolutely meaningless. This was a good piece of criticism and inspired me to contribute meaningful things to the community. The rules have gone too far.
