Hi my name is Ryan , also known as xXShadowBladeXx on steam As we all know flood is a fun , enjoyable game mode about creating and fighting on our homemade rafts that usually tip over as soon as the water rises My idea doesn't seem like much however when battling I believe it could make a difference and provide a new atmosphere for people to fight in. Environmental aspects - Rain , Snow , Fog ... them sort of things even possible a night time round. This is just a mini idea as it could provide a new atmospheric aspect towards the round providing a challenging battle. the fog could blur vision which turns the tables when your on your raft. Whilst night mode could make use of spotlights etc... Thanks for reading my idea, I hope you take it into consideration. xXShadowBladeXx - Ryan
This would likely make a lot of people lag and so would have to have a toggle. During christmas events we do put some snow on, perhaps it'd be nice to have some fog during the Halloween event?
Seems like a good idea I just thought you could have rounds of each one. Although the lag could be an issue as you said. Thanks for reading my idea.
Not worth it, we do shit like this for events. Ex. Christmas Event, and we actually had to make an option to turn it off because it was annoying players.
Most ideas of this caliber should be fine provided that toggle-friendly options accommodate them. Atmos could pair up with this nicely.
It seems like it would be too tricky to pull together for a permanent addition to the game. Oh well... im sure there are plenty of other ideas that can be noticed
We have Snow during our Winter/Christmas events, however this always causes a problem during build round because the glass ceiling has to be removed so that the snow falls down. Then people get their boats/props teleported to the main room and it becomes stuck if they go above where that ceiling is while building. Basically it means for additions like this there always seems to be some con to it.
And there is ABSOLUTELY no way of editing the ceiling so that particles + objects can fall through the surface above but can't pass through below?
