I loved Gmod Tower and this move to the Unreal Engine 4 is a great move. They just could not expand much through the Source engine. If anyone wants to play hit me up, I just got the game today and I plan to play some minigolf or ball race. FAQ
Just don't know how it'll turn up because I've spent money on games and I barely even play it. It looks good when visualizing it but actually playing it is just pure boring/shit. Tower Unite isn't that bad and I've first played GMOD Tower since ~2012-2013. It sucks that I never gone to stick by abit longer but I'll be looking forward into purchasing it.
I think playing it by yourself is the problem. It's a really fun group game which will be much better now that they plan to allow players to host their own towers. You can let just your friends join your tower and play games together instead of with the public.
Unfortunately the game isn't very playable for me. I was only getting a max of 10fps with the lowest settings and that was in the menu. When actually playing it was around 6-8. Yeah my pc isn't great, but I think a lot has to do with the game still being in Alpha and graphics haven't been tweaked well enough. I'm saving up for a new pc but it will be a while before I can get it. So for now I got a refund until I can play it smoothly.
It's a lot worse then Gmod Tower, Until they fix all of their rough bugs and lags I won't throw 15$ at them saying give me this awesome game.
Agreed. I really wish they would have left Gmod Tower up until Tower Unite was at a Full Release. At least then some of us could still play.
