Might wanna make it charge up to attack to avoid spam. While its effectiveness may be lowered, the capability of being able to disorient players (with lag) is still powerful regardless how much it pushes. The gravity gun exponentially increases its pushing power the more hits you land on one (constrained) object, especially in the case of a Flood boat.
Perhaps give it a charge-up ability? The longer the M1 button is held, the stronger the punt. Might consume more ammo that way.
Maybe if you change it to 6 ammo and allow the charge up ability to consume 3 charges at it's highest charge?

Yeah but there could be other factors that are included such as an increased chance to unweld. 1 = 15% chance, 2 = 25% chance and 3 = 40% chance?
I do agree with you! The more you charge the gravity gun, the higher the unwelding chance gets. Also would like to add one more thing, every time you punt a prop, player knockback should apply. (Higher the charge, stronger the knockback)
I am in support of the idea of a gravity gun along with the charged-up ability. This can help not only the variety of guns available to the players, but also make Flood more interesting and vivid in the long run, something that we need to sustain our playerbase. However, I do have a concern of the gravity gun being abused by some players, especially when it can be the perfect conventional weapon for rulebreakers to prop push and abuse. I would suggest either making the props nocollide with players as previously mentioned in the forums or place a cool down after the gravity gun is fired in order to ensure that the weapon is not exploited for malicious purposes. Other than that, it would be great if this idea is introduced into the servers.

Just realized that the Gravity Gun could be defensively useful for deflecting grenades, bazooka rockets (?), and sledgehammers. In the case of the latter, projectile speed is greatly amplified and perhaps additional player + damage could be applied for successful deflections.
While playing Flood I was thinking about the new gravity gun idea you proposed Counter and thought, what about reloading? It should have some form of reloading or "recharge" time period as opposed to how fast you can shoot the gun, we should just have a recharge time after each blast, kind of like reloading.
