Rooting a Android phone

    So I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I am intrested in this rooting thing and I dont want to spend 5 hours on reddit trying to find out how to do it or follow some sketchy youtube video.So I need someone to guide me or send a trustworthy guide.

    But before that, check your device's model and then install/root stuff that corresponds with it

    Settings>About Phone>Device Model

    ex) if you have a china qualcommm (SM-G9350 [hero2qltechn]), then download & flash drivers for that model

    https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
    CTRL + F, find your device model on that site and download the .zip file. go on download mode (hold down power button + down volume + home button at the same time for a few seconds) and hook your usb to your phone and plug it into the computer

    open odin, select the md5 file and start. you should be able to tell whether if its downloading if you have that bar on your phone
