I have two bugs that need to be resolved. One is the 'sharking' props that frequently happens on team round and the visual bug where you cannot see the owner of some props. I have posted about this on the Flood Suggestions and @Decap said to post about it here.

'Sharking' is what we call when welded props lose control and fly everywhere or when the props get stuck into the ground at spawn. Sharking causes the server to strain leading to crashes and lag. Most cases of sharking props happen on team round. It usually occurs whenever a team is building a big or long boat and one or more players try to move the boat. Also happens if the boat hits the wall or ceiling. Flying sharked props are a hazard to alive players, threatening to knock them off their boats.

I suggest making a command that targets a specific player, refunds and removes all of their props. The targeted player will be notified what happened to their props. Decap stated that there is a command that does this, but it removes all props...
The command will replace the need to kick a player for shark props. As far as I know, this command is the only way to remove sharked props outside of build phase. This leads to another problem: missing owner labels. We cannot use this command if we do not know the owner of the props. Sometimes the labels show, sometimes they don't. (Fix the prop owner labels)

So, I ask staff for their opinions and suggestions on how to resolve these issues.

You could possible steal or just search some command, off a darkrp server or the workshop. Almost every darkrp server uses some for of prop remover command.

Rightclick with the remover tool on his stuff, this requires Admin rank however.

We both know admins aren't always on. We need something that mods can use as well. Plus the problem isn't for build phase but battle phase and we can't access the remover tool during that phase.

Kicking the players with the message "rejoin please" will remove their props, refund them 100% and solve the problem.

Upon them rejoining explain to them that they need to build more carefully so that their boat doesn't glitch out again. If they continue to do it, then you can consider banning them for 1-3 days for attempted server crash attempts. (Though in most cases they will get the point after the first kick)

It doesn't matter if a tool to remove all their props is implemented because they will cry that you removed their boat anyway. So just use 'kick' as your tool.

I have to agree with jeff. If someones boat is glitched out, more than likely they wont be able to stay on their boat and die. I would say first, unless the lag is really bad, ask the owner of the props to disconnect and rejoin. If they don't get the msg, then kick them. Note to jr mods and vip that asking them first is important. Then proceed to kick/vote kick if they do not rejoin.

A small note on this issue. I usually dont give a warning if the boat in question is lagging the server hard enough. When there are 20+ players on, the server CPU is already running pretty hard so having a boat glitching out pretty much maxes whatever overhead we have left. In which case the server couod potentially crash.

With server stability in mind, I don't think anyone will give you a hard time if you kick the culprits even if it was just a mistake.

    Something like this?:

    !clean <player>

Will look at all of the players props, and get all props they are constrained too (the entire boat)
After refunding, will show up a message to all players in the players team saying "An admin has deemed your boat causing too much trouble and cleaned it up. Sorry for any inconvenience", this will be a menu box popping up, and they have to click Okay to close it. (Basically forced to take the message)

This would be perfect, maybe we can add a 'vote clean' for vips as well?

Okay, I will ask the player before kicking them.

Donkie, if that command is available to mods and juniors, change admin to staff member in the message. Also add that their props have been refunded so they don't freak out about losing cash.

The prop labels need to be fixed as some props do not have a label.

That is a different issue and I'm aware its sometimes broken, if it happens in a tight situation, a rejoin should temporarly fix it.

@Donkie can we add an option to clean players props by holding tab and right clicking their name as well? Some people have the crazy characters in their name is why I ask.
