Should this idea be implemented into the game?

    Twilight??
    Yes, Twilight.
Yes, just like the one just like the TV show.
No, Don't ban me for Copyright.

This gamemode will probably be postponed due to two reasons:
    1. Too much coding.
    2. Too off course from the original flood --> This could even possibly implemented as a new gamemode for GMOD or maybe even already have.

    But why not? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Let me explain this new gamemode that I am thinking of very thoroughly so that you can get a good idea of how this new gamemode is going to be laid out. Although the complete game has not been completely set in stone, this is the type of gamemode I am aiming for. Comment below to give any extra suggestions and feedback if you have any.

Before we start, BTTT = Build to the top. I'm too stuffed to write that name 20 times.

So Basically, this will be a combination of the three existing events; Zombie, Juggernaught and BTTT. There are two teams; Humans and Vampires. A Certain amount of people will be chosen as the vampires with respect to the current player count on the server, just like the other gamemodes. There will initially be 2 (max) vampires. A Vampire King and a Vampire Queen (or just a vampire king if there aren't that many people on). We can either implement when the vampires get chosen after the building phase is over or when building phase starts. We can discuss this down below. These two chosen players will have an extraordinary amount health, just like a Juggernaut, and infinite lives. Furthermore, they will only need to hit the humans once or twice to turn them into a vampire minion (After dying and respawning). Vampire minions will have less health, but will still be capable of turning others into vampires. We can also discuss whether if the Vampires (including the minions) will get rewarded (extra health or an ability such as speed boost for a certain amount of time) when they manage to "suck a certain amount of blood" - Kill a certain amount of players. So pretty much, the vampire's aim is to turn everyone into Vampires by the end of the round. These vampires will be able to damage props and thus, destroy them. This will prevent people from encaging themselves until the end of the round.

Now, the Human's team. In the building stage, all noclip perms will be stripped off everyone. This is to prevent people from taking advantage and creating buildings which are impossible to legitimately climb. So the building phase. People will be given a gravity gun, just like in the BTTT event. This is so that the props cannot be frozen from afar, and thereby, the players will have to build starting from the bottom. Furthermore, the restriction on the max props will be removed (Otherwise, more building props will have to be added). These props will not be unfrozen at the end of building phase, just like the BTTT event. However, this time, the whole of the humans' team can work together to build one huge building/tower, and this will help those who are an amateur. Note: we will have to remove the permission of players being able to touch other player's props. If players decide that they want to build a separate tower, then there will be nothing stopping them. The map is large. This allows players to build multiple towers as well make them wide. Furthermore, the players can make the pathway up the tower interesting by adding parkour or obstacles to slow the vampires down.

Moving onto the action phase for the humans. The weapons will be modified so that it gives off more projectile to the vampires, but not too much. This means that humans will be stripped of most explosion + OP weps because otherwise, this will give the vampires a huge disadvantage. I have a brief idea on the loadout for Humans, however, this can easily be changed through discussion. Basically, rocket launchers and other useless weps will be removed, and definitely the Predator missile, lol. Redundant weps will only create a tougher time switching weps and inconvenience. These will involve harpoons, Extinguisher, melee weps, most of the pistols, molotov, Ar2, SMG + grenade launcher. The rest can be decided through discussion. Thus, the humans will be given infinite ammo to weps that won't give off much damage and projectile, such include the Galil and five-seven. Note: The only explosion weps that will be allowed are limited grenades and maybe sticky bombs. If we really wanted, we could allow 1 or 2 SMG grenade launchers, but I feel that these might be slightly too op, especially when a group of people uses it. These weapons' main roles won't be to kill the vampires but rather just create an opening for them to escape and hold off, so the damage will have to be nerfed. The humans will only be given two "exorcism weapons" where if the vampires were hit by these, they would intake a significant amount of damage (More than the other weapons) but nevertheless, they will need to be modified so that the vampires or the vampire king do not die so quickly. The first weapon will be the healing stick (or we could add a proper stake just for this gamemode). This will be given to everyone. If the vampire had died due to being hit by this, then the player would no longer be able to respawn. The second weapon will be the golden gun but modified. It won't do 1/4 damage just like it originally would but it will still do more damage than the other weapons (around 1/10? and they will only have 1 ammo, maybe 2). However, the vampire would not be "exorcised" by being killed by this pistol. Thus, they will still be able to respawn. Which thereby means that the only way to exorcise the vampires is the "stake". The human's goal would be to survive until the end of the round.

    Additional content and information:

When the last 2 or 3 players remain, they could possibly gain the ability to turn into a werewolf where they have increased hp and damage, but they can only do melee attacks.

Maybe remove the "Shift" to run for this gamemode. It seems like too much of a hassle when chasing each other.

The extra perks (Ones I was talking about earlier). Possibly 1.5 or 2 x speed boost for 15 sec? and an extra restoration of health? Maybe 1 shot hit kill.

There are two choices on when the vampires get chosen. They can be chosen after they have built their towers and building phase is over, or when the round starts. However, there are few problems. If they are chosen when the rounds starts, it might be slightly boring whilst they wait. Though, if they are chosen after they have built their building, they practically wasted their money. So, we can discuss this in the comments.

The user-interface for grav gun needs to be improved. We can not just use the one from the original BTTT. It's too awkward.

Through this gamemode, money would be earned mainly off time. I'd recommend increasing the money income for the time being spent alive, just for this event. Extra money can be determined by how many kills the vampires/humans get, how much damage they do to each other (Prop damage is ignored) and the team that wins?

The floor will flood up to a certain height, just like BTTT. The vampires won't take damage from the water, however, the humans will. Thus, if they fall, they can die and turn into a vampire. However, vampires won't take damage from the water. Vampires will spawn underwater at the start of the action phase and after they respawn to prevent any extra problems - Spawn camping, etc.

If you've reached this far into this post, Good Job. I'm surprised you haven't alt f4-ed and gone to do something else more useful than reading this post which will undoubtedly be postponed. Thinking back now, I regret making this post. Gave me more stress than writing an essay. If you'd like to waste a bit more time, feel free to give feedback and maybe improvements.

People already hate BTTT, since its really hard to build on that event.
It will be even more difficult to build the "big-badass tower" without noclip.

How do you expect something this complicated to become part of the gamemode

If a user asks me how the event works and I simply can't respond with "Basically it's just" that's an issue considering it's flood. I am not too fond of events that seem really complicated and where you have way too much to learn. Like think of the events we have now.

random loadout - get random loadout of weapons
pirate event - get only crowbar and harpoon and you crowbar fight people
mortar event - mortars rain from the sky and do damage to props

Like that's so simple. Life is simple. Flood is simple.

Also I don't like events that are a lot like other events. In this case idk why we don't just play the zombie event instead.

    I don't.
Halfway writing this, I already realised how long this is.
Even if we tried simplifying it, Idk how it would work out.
If divinity wanted to create an entirely new gamemode, well here you go. Lol
