A buddy of mine got back from Colorado this past friday. Rolled up a blunt with some dab rolled into it. Haven't been that blazed in a long time. Considering moving to Colorado now.
Fortunately for us weed will most likely be decriminalized recreationally everywhere in the next drcade, but unfortunately for Colorado it'll probably slowly lose its reputation as the weed Capitol of the US.
I've been saying, for the past decade, that it will be legalized soon and I have been wrong. At least under the current administration we will not have it decriminalized, so there's hope for the next guy that get's put in.
Technically speaking states can't actually legalize it, neither California or Colorado were authorized by congress to do so. Legalization is federal while decriminalization is by state. To legalize marijuana wholey the United States would need both President Trump and congress on board, however the state governments have begun decriminalizing it on their own accords which is basically a loophole. That's why you see more and more liberal states falling in with the weed bunch. Last was California which is majorly liberal and next will most New York. More and more liberal states will probably decriminalize after that and eventually it will spread to the lesser conservative states which will take a while. President Trump will be furious with this yes, but unless he and congress pass a law taking over decriminalization into the federal government's hands, it will be in state government power. It's very unlikely such a law will ever be passed ironically because Congress is largely Republicans who advocate against taking away state power. I'm not these politicians aren't hypocritical and they'd probably turn on the people if it would benefit them but going directly against their party's views would lead to an even bigger problem. Overall everything's a bit shady with no definite outcome, that's just the place America is in right now. But I will say that I'm leaning towards thinking total decriminalization and possible legalization in the United States is to come soon.
While that's good thinking, you have to consider that red states are filled with idiots. Here in TN, it is a vast red state. Very few blues here and most of the Reds vote in people who are anti marijuana. Same goes for many of the other red states. While the people themselves are most pro marijuana, they are too dumb to realize they are voting in people who are going against their own self interests. So while I don't think it will stay illegal forever, it will take a lot longer than 10 years for it to reach all states unless we get a POTUS who is willing to just take the ball and run with it and hope it will be passed. There is a lot of lobbying done in DC and other states as well to keep it illegal, anywhere from the Prisons to keep people in jail (more people in jail = more money in their pockets), Big tobacco and the pharmaceutical industry because legal weed will threaten their products. So no matter what the public opinion is, if they aren't smart enough to elect representatives that actually represent them, we won't be moving forward anytime soon.
All very true, but it's possible that when all blue states decriminalize, those idiots you mentioned might start realizing they are being left out and demand change. They still probably won't vote democrat because that's how many conservatives are..but I think eventually a smart enough Republican politician will come along supporting marijuana. He won't be very liked among the rest of his party, but perhaps he'll use the popularity of recreational marijuana in other states to ride himself to office in his own.
How could you monsters allow this thread to die. D:. One of my most recent and "extreme" strains was called mad dog, it resulted in all feelings being delayed by 5 seconds, quite easily the best I've had, however it was scary at the time, so if you enjoy that sort of thing, I recommend it.
The day the weebs outnumbered the tokers at devinity was a sad day indeed. Calling all real niggas to revive this thread.
What you smokin on, right now I’m puffing on a mendo breath, tree base klear cart. They’re really expensive but best cart I’ve ripped yet. Better than 710’s kingpen!
Just tried some new shit called Jolly Rancher, super expensive. Best tasting strain I’ve ever had I think. Smoked two blueberry swishers of it and felt like I was vibrating for two hours. After my body felt like it had just gotten a massage, my mans is outta it now tho so I’m sad I might not get to try it again :/
