Hello Everyone, Me and a couple other friends would like to see a new prop. The new prop that we agreed on is an enlarged Flamingo, similar to the Leek. It would obviously be larger, have slightly more health, and be slightly more expensive. I feel that this change would make the flamingo a versatile building tool. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, Dough
Sure, this is pretty much feasible Do you think collision should be added to the legs as some sort of compensation for the size increase? Or would it be pretty nice to keep it as is and have it act not only a bigger prop but also a form of decoration for your boat? (imagine a flamingo "sitting" on your boat <legs go through the props>) And what other props besides the flamingo do you think should be scaled (if any)?
Hey Counter, Thanks for showing interest in my post ! I don't think collision should be enabled for legs because it would be extremely hard to make the elegant graceful flamingo boat :3 >> https://imgur.com/lBRgoJQ << . I think when we increase its size (and potentially health), not only will it make it a versatile tool used for decoration, bullet sponge, and a building resource. I went on a private server and assessed the size and usability of every prop, I felt that mostly everything is a good place. The only thing I would change is scaling the Hay Bale down while retaining price and health, so it can be place around boats as a cheap bullet shield. Right now I think that bullet sponges are either too expensive (for the light ones), or too heavy (for the really protective ones). So I think that the Hay Bail adjustment will make it unique tool!
Haha that's pretty awesome :P I'm g'awwing that people are utilizing decorative props for more than just what they are. Yeah, I completely agree with the idea of preserving the current collision of the flamingo and I do hope that it'll be more convivial for players to utilize like we have done with the leek. I believe we discussed about the Hay Bale yesterday when we were in the voice chat call. You can stack the props horizontally to achieve that same effect but I do understand that it may not always be the case for certain scenarios. I'll definitely consider these ideas and also hope to expand the variety of our props list.
I would love to see it in game. Moreover, it gave me an idea to for an event in which there will be a bigger version of all the props (or a big version of all the small props and a small version of the big props because it might be a slight problem if all of the props will be big)
Great idea, it should be called Resize event and all props should be one size. It would make for some interesting rounds!
