I feel everyone should have at least one good story about 'things they thought when they were younger.' Maybe because a mindset you had previously, you'd see differently now. Or, maybe you were so young that you fabricated logic from something totally senseless. The most prevalent story that comes to my mind falls latter. Most of you may know it's common for young children to be introduced the alphabet via the 'ABC' song. I for one, happen to be one of those children. However, unforeseen things happen when educated in song; I managed to misinterpret things on a grand scale. My undeveloped mind registered the letters 'l, m, n, o, and p' as one single letter. The 'lmnop' seed had inadvertently been planted in my brain. I continued to live unaware of my false belief until an embarrassing day in an early course of kindergarten. Suddenly life.. and the alphabet.. was a lie in its entirety. So, that's the recollection I have of a prodigious thought that crossed my mind when I was younger. What's yours?
I always thought cheats in games like Age of Empires or GTA were unintended glitches, I never realised that developers put them there, which kinda made it even more fun cause I was abusing the game in an unintended way
I used to think if you took a hamburger apart and ate the bun, patty, then other bun you were actually eating more food.
I thought that the number line went as such. 1 2 3 4 5 9 8 7 6 10 11 ect every time I hit where 6 should be I put 9 and replaced it with what ever.
The classic one: I never understood why girls "went for a pee" when my mom had explained that girls don't have a penis. I couldn't grasp the concept of peeing in any other way.
My mom loves cranberry glass so when I was a kid in Atlantic City for Vacation, so I wanted to buy my mom one of these but instead I confused Cranberry glass with a Bong and I was saying to my brother " Mom loves those" We have to get that for mom" They must of thought my mom smokes a lot of bud lol
