4th of July is coming up in a couple of months, so I thought I would make a thread for Holiday theme ideas for the servers. Major holidays only, but it doesn't have to be just American holidays since we have 2 EU servers. Use the format below for your suggestion: Code: -Holiday -Where is your holiday celebrated? (to determine which servers we would apply this to) -Atmosphere (ie rainy, foggy, normal, night time) -Description of theme -Links to anything that could be of use to implement the theme on our servers. My theme idea - 4th of July -'Murica -Normal during build, Night time with little to no moon light during battle round. -What better way to celebrate the fact that we aren't being oppressed by Rick anymore than to have explosions in the sky. The floor has some fireworks here and there, some used, some not. Bottle rockets, mortars, or any other firework model will do. Once the build round ends, the map will fade to night time between then and the battle round. Once it's weapons free, fireworks start going off in the sky. -Fireworks -Firework tool gun so people can put fireworks on their boats and set them off. -Special limited time store item: Presidential masks
Given that no events have been active for the last two major holidays (July 4th and Easter) I feel that we should definitely come up with something for anything big soon. August 3rd is "National Watermelon Day". I propose the limited addition of: Spawnable Watermelons available for building boats with. The reward of a watermelon hat (Covering the entire head) and a related award (Juicy, Fruity etc.) when spawning one of these. Also I don't know if you're trying to make a joke about "bank holiday" or if you just don't understand what it is.
