Banned perm for flaming?

I don't know what this box is used for but I'm just gonna explain myself here. I was on a server with my friend and 3 other kids or so. there was maybe a max (including me) of 6 or so. I made my team name to n-word just for trolls. No one said anything or did anything at the time. An admin named Fish came on and asked me to change it. I did. Conflict goes on and during a team round I was on a boat with the admin named fish. The boat was getting smaller because people were obviously shooting at it. It ended up getting to the point where I had to start being in front of fish. I play a lot of CS:GO a lot for the people who know what that game is so I was strave shooting the enemies boat because that's how I play and I think fish may have thought I was trolling or butt hurt or something. and perma banned me. Worst comes the worst I don't think I should be perma banned for at most maybe trolling by walking in front of someone during a team round.

I also took a look at other perma bans and all the other perma bans were basically either hackers or ddos reasons. I was no where near that

who the fuck is fish anyways? I check all moderators and Admins previous names. Rollie had something to do with a fish in one of his previous names. Rinaa had a lot of bullshit cover up names. So, my guess it was one of them two. I honestly disagree with that fact that is was a permanent ban. @Rinaa @Rollie

I also don't believe your strafe shooting bullshit. This isn't CS:GO. It's fucking GMod. Strafe shooting in GMod, no matter the game mode has no advantage.

Just want to say, If this ban was correct for perma. At least give a better reason the fucking flaming. I don't think anyone was banned permanently for flaming, At all. Flaming is using racist slurs, inappropriate language, arguing, trolling, ect.

@Firedraft mods and above now have the ability to go incognito and apparently it changes the "banned by" name to the disguised name instead of the actual mods name that banned. I brought it up to @Donkie and that should be fixed soon. So therefor "fish" could be anyone which in this case was @Rinaa

Don't unban him. When I got on the server, his team name was the "n-word" I asked him to change it immediately and he did. But he changed it to different spelling, I asked him to change it again, but he kept arguing, so I kicked him. He then came back once again and made his team name the same slur except changed spelling. So I banned him for an hour.

He then came back on his alt which is the account he posted this with and began to break the don't disrespect fellow players or staff rule, he began to target, and during the team round we were standing on 10 vending machines (3 people) and he was purposely blocking my view. This guy is a major troll and deserves his permanent ban.

* I banned his alt after several warnings, for a numerous amount of rules he was breaking.

You really should. You're too blind to see how childish your behaviour was. You broke so many rules, you're lucky I endured you for as long as I did.

The final call is up to Rinaa. I could turn it over, but since you basically admit to doing what Rinaa described I have no reason to do so. If you want to get unbanned, I'd suggest asking Rinaa what you can do to to change her mind.

Also, Gmod isn't that serious, we fuck around all the time. But a server without rules is chaos and if you're to childish to play by the rules then you don't need to be here in the first place. Ball is in your court now.

I'd like to point out that we very rarely give out permanent bans and we have a policy of removing/reducing bans if a user goes to the effort of seeking out the forums. You really shouldn't be giving out permanent bans in any scenario, and only really in scenarios involving the technical sides of things (Such as repeatedly trying to crash the server or Ddos or something).

I've reduced this person's ban down from Permanent down to 1 and a half months. You can't just disallow a person access to the servers Forever because of their attitude, especially if they show actual effort to get unbanned. Even if they have been banned before and break many rules.

This thread is absolutely ridiculous. I'm already suspicious about the way that you handle moderation and now that I've seen you give out a permanent ban for what any other staff would simply give a lengthy ban for you've made me even more uneasy. In the future restrict yourself in regards to moderation. A removal for "Flaming" is completely overboard.
