So basically exactly what I suggested? ok you do the work if it sounds really good I might consider making a map for it.
No bad, BAD NO Its a mix of stranded and dark rp and harbor roleplay in a grand survival roleplay island trading farming fishing paradise
Ok so here is what you are doing, making a thing for survival dark rp on islands with boats, the map will have no houses so players will have to build their own, food is scarce so you have to plant it or catch it using crab pots, or fishing, There would be a few different ranks and gangs that would monopolize their own islands for their various illegal doings, there would be a group of people who pretend to be the authority (not the coast guard because they are stranded), trading would ensue and blah blah, players would build towns, VIPs can save their builds using adv duplicator, buoyancy tool is needed, weld is enabled, thrusters are for vips same with everything in flood actually, with the exception of boat motors which can be bought from fisherman joe, the owner of the only house (shack) on the map, There could possibly be flooding in a tsunami event or whatever, there would be animals in the ocean along with on the island, possibly pets, there would be no freezing of props and all construction is held together using the weld tool, Now put all that into a fancy thread and crap, if you need me to list server plugins / workshop items just ask and I might consider not being lazy.
Im thinking you're still not really getting the RP part, this is like modern roleplay on an island map, so like PERP but island life themed with boats, fishing, flying vehicles (maybe) truck drivers, taxi drivers, police officers, it's like a literal life rp om an island. Not building, no physgun, no toolguns. I personally prefer this because I don't have to feel the lag of props and text screens everywhere. Instead there's properties you can purchase from a reality office and cars and buggies you can buy at the dealership. Of course it won't be AS serious as clockwork ganemodes. The reason I'm so specific is because the gamemode is already in development, and the creator may be joining us, as I'm helping him with this, thus the reason for the gamemode's megathread.
what, this is for devinity, no other random servers, unless your referring to a actual coder joining the devinity team, And I think it should be an undeveloped island, because if its not your literally describing a gamemode called harbor roleplay.
Get started you have 3 hours to make it, It better include fancy colors and links and pictures and refreshments.
