Banned for talking???

My friend was recently banned...perma banned for talking??? while I was banned for a day for prop pushing. How does this make sense I get the whole banned for prop pushing but perma banned for talking this is unacceptable . if your wondering it was divinity server one he was banned by dawson and his name is alb1024

I would greatly appreciate it if this problem could be fixed and my friend could be unabanned because this is truly my favorite thing on gmod

Im not really sure if this is an unban request or a report on a staff member. Anyway you will need some evidence to go along with this otherwise you can get no where with accusing. Also a witness will not give you any justification either. Screenshots or a video of the abuse would do. @Dawson I'm sure you can shed some light on this.

I cannot look at those pictures. Your friend will have to upload them and then take the URL and post it on his thread.

 

First and foremost, please don't double-post in the forums. It is painful to see one-liners everywhere in each reply to this thread. I would highly suggest editing your original post in near future and read up on the forums rules to at least have some forum etiquette.

While it would be great if Dawson can shed light to this issue, especially on the permanent ban for spamming the servers and the forums, I would highly suggest that you post your appeal / complaint to the bans section and post your relevant evidence (use Imgur in near future, alright?) to at least support your claims. It doesn't help anyone if you PM forum users to support your case against a staff member if you don't have any decisive evidence against him.

I am most likely going to watch this case and refrain from taking sides. This topic is to be subject for staff members only.
