Hi Devyboyos and Devygirlos, I wish I could write a resignation thread without being a lil' bitchboy thespian but sadly this all means a bit much to me. Devinity has taken up what is probably a disproportionate amount of my time given the length that I've been here and the substantial amount of meming that I've done. I love this community with all my heart and I hope I'll be a part of it to it's end. However I no longer feel like I need/want to be in a position of importance within it. I want this community to prosper more than anything, and whilst at some stage I may have felt myself the best man for the job that is most certainly no longer the case. I'd love to say that my course and lifestyle are the reason that I'm leaving, and that I can't cope with the workload coupled with the community. However, I simply don't have time for devinity at large, it is the community engagement that I cannot find the time for and somebody who is not able to fulfill *that* at the very least clearly shouldn't be a big-boy-admo. I hope one of you fills that place in the near future. I don't feel especially connected to the community anymore in any sense that the word 'commune' could be construed. There are people that have contributed more, dedicated more, and devoted far more to this community in the past few months than I've mustered and I think they're the ones that should be given an opportunity to shape something they genuinely care about. I won't be thanking you all individually but some (almost all) of you bois I'd genuinely consider fwends, love ya. Given that I'm obviously not gonna entirely jump ship, see you in #shitposting on the disk. I could write at length about how much this community has influenced and molded me but I think anybody that is reading this loves at least one of our servers and as a result loves the community, I hope you do it well.
Thank you for being part of this Community Rick. I never had a real connection towards you but you and the rest of the community pulled me out of a huge black hole of sadness. And i can't thank you enough for that. Without you and the others, i wouldn't be here anymore. Thank you, and i wish you the best of luck wherever you go

Goodbye brit. You were always the voice of reason whenever there was conflict or turmoil and you've helped maintain the staff team for so long. You'll always remain as one of the greatest staff members devinity has ever had
Rick, thank you so much for everything you have done for us. I personally cannot thank you enough for guiding me on the right path in my earlier years, for I wouldn't be here today without realizing my mistakes. Without seeing you on day to day it might feel like there is an un-patchable hole for a while, but I will never forget the time when you were apart of Devinity. A part of us. No matter where you are, remember we'll always be here rooting for you. Good luck in your travels, and until next time we meet, I'll be saying farewell.
I hope that you and Amanda live a very good life as a married couple. We may not have seen eye to eye but you certainly knew how to deal with situations which makes you good in my eyes. xx
