Is it too much to ask for Devinity on the AppStore. 75% of the time I'm using forums its on my phone and the Devinity site while compatible is very hard to use. I know this would be a lot of work but I think we should make it happen.

As Far as I know Donkie has said it's not worth the work for a small hand full of people who would actually use it. Try to see if your mobile browser supports Desktop Mode, I find that using that makes it a little better.

I never really have an issue with the mobile version while I'm on my phone, mostly because I'm just checking posts.

Our forums already use a responsive design. This means they're designed to scale for many screens; including mobile devices. While this may not be optimal for a mobile experience it remains the most practical choice for our userbase.

It wouldn't be all that difficult to create an app for accessing our forums, but it's also not worth the hassle of forgoing the development and app approval process. It would be a waste of time and resource.

    Xenforo works okay on mobile.

If we wanted an app, we'd have to develop it, that would be difficult given the fact that we use steam integration, and then as Bayrock said, we'd have to get it licensed, and if we wanted to do that on an appstore it'd cost a fair bit of Moola.

Well we could make an app that did have to be on the app store. Especially since so few people would use it. But at the same time people use so many different phones these days. One app would only work for a handful of phones, not to mention iPhone/Android competition. So yeah all in all it would be to much work to go through it all even if we didn't put it on the app store.

Although an app would be helpful, it wouldn't really be relevant as others had stated. Devinity doesn't have enough players to incorporate an app. You could easily look up the forums site on your phone. I get on your phone, not everything is easily accessible because of a small screen, but I guess we all have to deal with it. Unless we have more members sign up, I don't think this would happen anytime soon.

Verdict is that it is 'too much' to ask for an app. Thread closed.
