Bugbait Glitch

I'm unsure if this is the main cause but it sure seems like it. A couple of timed I've noticed players randomly die with a good deal of health left and I think bugbait is the root of this bug. (no pun intended) It seems that when a player throws bug bait at another and the projectile itself hits the player, that player dies on contact. If the bug bait doesn't hit the player, it just acts normally and fills the air with its dreadful toxins. I'd be happy to test my theory with someone...
