A huge accident at the power plant led to gallon's of toxic waste to be spilled into the water. These chemical's are highly corrosive and can easily chew up anything that comes in contact with the water. 10 seconds after the round begin's, all of the water will start to get corrosive. As time passes the water will get more and more corrosive dealing constant damage to props. Aside from dealing damage to props , if you happen to get in contact with the water you will be badly burned so try to avoid it at all costs. This would be similar to the event where water levels rise super high and players have to build high above the water level. Instead it will be like a normal round and the props at the bottom will be corroding away so new strategies will be needed to survive. Stats : 1-5 damage per second to prop's (increases overtime). 5 damage per second for 5 seconds to players on top on normal water damage. I think this would be a cool event , let me know how you feel about it!
What is the radius of the corossive water? At what speed does it spread? The damage might be a problem depending on the time limit and the pvp damage the round might not last too long.
This reminds me of the toxic water event that was already suggested amd not a big fan of it. It's just like a haste event kind of because props amd players will die faster. It doesn't seem very fun and I don't think it will change the way anyone will build.
We've had this idea before and unfortunately imo it's not about fighting its about building tall boats which minimize contact with the water That isn't necessarily a bad thing and a round that causes players to change their designs sounds cool, but also it could just take away from the actual combat
