This is a no-brainer , there should always be festive themes for each season to spice up the server so it's not bland and monotonous. Christmas is such a major event that there should be some sort of winter theme added , maybe make it snow? It would make the atmosphere awesome!
Someone make a list of the essential things need done . (I.E., WW, Dodgeball, etc) set a date where the devs are actually free. (This only takes a little communication). And for the hours of that day just fucking do it, get as much done as you can. That's all it takes.
I think we should replace the "Flag" with a Candy Cane for the christmas update and re-skin props such as the vending machine and money crate into presents.Also we could add snowballs which people can throw at each other during build rounds.Also possibly add a Devinity advent calendar?
Problem is neither Donkie or Bayrock like to be pressured to do these things. They always do them at their own pace and pressuring them about it won't make a difference (I've tried). So we just have to be patient with them and let them do it at their own pace.
I feel like making a list would not be bad, not forcing them to actually get it on a set time but a list of things could be helpful. Just no actual time limits.
Yes a list is fine, but taking this list and telling them to do it is a different story. We have github which Donkie likes to use. Someone could get together a list of the top 10 event ideas and we could put it on there for him to look at.
