Take the term "ghost" with a grain of salt. "Ghost" is often associated with is things we don't quite understand. This may include things such as demons, poltergeists, paranormal activity or even Casper (Just to name a few). Or Perhaps you think "ghosts" are fake and the people who tell stories are just crazy or clueless? Share YOUR true stories if you have any to tell.
As I was journeying to Polis for help, I met a strange man named 'Khan', he went on and on about the ghosts in the abandoned tunnels; "It appears that the devastation we brought upon ourselves was complete; Heaven, Hell and Purgatory were atomized as well. So when a soul leaves the body it has nowhere to go, and must remain here, in the Metro. A harsh, but not undeserved atonement for our sins, wouldn't you agree?" A few hours later in one of these 'abandoned tunnels', he told me to stop and point my light forward, I saw shadowed figures at a old barricade, I was stunned at this, but Khan was not... He told me to get behind him, he then walked forward humming something, and the ghosts parted at the entrance, we walked through un-scaved, after the incident he told me this; "Wicked phenomenon, yes? But, you know, it’s not any more "evil" than, say… fire. It all depends on your point of view. Try to get a better understanding of things before you make your judgement. Let's move out now, it's not safe here." Although I have not seen this man in awhile, I always have the feeling he is watching me where ever I go in the metro... Spoiler If you get this you get a like
drugs are for squares like you we don't have objective proof that ghosts are real, and if ghosts were real we would have proof already of it god damn it. this is unless there are regulations for the ghosts to not be able to communicate with the real world or whatever, which wouldn't make sense, because why the hell do they have to follow regulations and why are there regulations in the first place? there's way too many flaws in the theory of ghosts that it's just impossible to take seriously. i dont really care whether you believe in ghosts or not though, as we dont have objective proof for or against it, so its just like believing in a god. tho i have an amazing greentext saved thats related to ghosts if you want a good laugh
When my mom was young, they lived in a haunted house. My mom told me about one time when my grandma saw a little girl run up to the second floor and yelled at my mom to stop running in the house, but my mom was in the kitchen the entire time and my grandma was in shock when she went in there and saw her. They looked it up and a little girl that lived there before them had drowned in the river close to the house. They also went on vacation one time and got a call from their neighbors who were watching the house for them while they were gone saying that they saw a man in uniform in the window, and when they looked it up a guy that also lived there had died in some factory accident a while ago. It's freaky and all of my aunts swear that it's true...... but maybe they were all on drugs
I dont believe in Ghosts~ Demons I believe in. (obviously most of you know I am christian) I dont beleive IN demons, I just know they exist. And they can do harmful things to nonbeleivers. (If you dont belevie in Christianity I dont care. Just shut up and enjoy the story.) I dont know if this was just a dream or not, but my worst fear if I had to dig deep enough is the Supernatural opccurances I know will never happen. But one I know could happen if I drift far enough away from God is a presence of a Demon. (Shut up I dont care if you dont believe, this is my story.) Anyway, my parents are divorced and I went to my dads house to sleep over like I normally do. Although, I had a harder time sleeping that night. As soon as I fell asleep I woke up about an hour later. However, I wasnt actually awake. My eyes were openish but my body was still asleep. I couldnt move, or say anything. I had my baby blanket over my face to help me sleep because I am also afraid of the dark so I leave a light on. (Yes I sleep with a baby blanket, yes I am really scared of the dark.) But in the sliver that I could see through from under my baby blanket I had seen the normal calender that is posted on my dads bedroom wall. It as moving. Just one page . I knew in my RIGHT mind that the pages were only moving because of the air conditioner. But because I was sort of in this lucid dream/half asleep half awake state, I thought it was ofc my worst nightmare, a demon causing it to move. (the next few sentences are all in a split second reaction.) I felt a weight on my chest and took my eyes off the calender moving and saw the thing spring up and put pressure on my chest up my throat and screamed in my face. He looked like tiny baby blue demon. Or like those stone winged demons in that one movie I cant remember the name of. But anyway, my body was instantly shot awake and I was forced to cry. I called my mom and it was about 3 am. She came and picked me up because I refused to sleep in that house that night.
literally everything you described is textbook syndrome of sleep paralysis especially the weight on your chest, which dont get me wrong is still an insanely scary experience. just thought you'd like to know http://www.sciencealert.com/here-s-what-happens-if-you-re-unlucky-enough-to-contract-sleep-paralysis
It was a horrifying experience and I never want it to happen again... Is there another article you recommend? It was really interesting to see how similar my experience with this article is.
Eh, gives me the chills thinking about sleep paralysis, my bio dad had it one time, felt something creeping up his leg then he finally regained body control when it was at his thigh, he kicks it off and heres a loud screech cause he had just kicked his bloody cat off the bed since he didn't know what was there. I sleep awkwardly enough reflex fast when it can potentially harm me, so I would probably kick the fuck out of the air while trying to grab my knife from my nightstand. Sometimes I feel like fast reflexes aren't good for me, especially when you cut yourself open with your own bread knife cause you were hoping it was the chef knife...
https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1u83wz/victims_of_sleep_paralysis_what_was_your_runin/ not an article but if it's experiences you want you can check out this thread i heard most people only go through it once so you should be fine. should it happen again, I heard a good strat to get out of it is to first of all not panic as panicking makes it worse, then try as hard as possible to move one of your fingers. what's interesting is that, or so I've been told, all of the sounds you hear are actual sounds in the real world just amplified. for example, the footsteps you hear during sleep paralysis is just the sound of your heartbeat but amplified. the more you panic the faster it beats, making the footsteps seem like it's getting louder and faster. also sleeping in a supine position gives a higher chance of sleep paralysis apparently
I have these kind of reactions as well.. I get them maybe once a year, to once every 3 months... I hate them so much. They hurt. Thank you for teaching me this. I always thought I was really attacked by a demon, but I am not afraid of it anymore.
I have a firm belief that ghosts and other uncleanly "things" are out there, for one reason or another. Because of this, I also think conjuring said entities is an incredibly foolish and stupid thing to do (e.g. Ouija boards).
