I've been meaning to share some screenshots I took of the insect collection I pulled together this spring, but never got around to it. Welp, the whole collection comprised of two Schmidt boxes with nearly 300 specimens and close to 90 families. All identifications, pinning, labeling, and organizing were done by me. Once we turned our quarter-long projects in, we weren't getting them back; they're part of UCR property now. At the end of the day I earned an A+ in the Field Entomology course.
Her bio final almost killed her lol, she had to collect plants and bugs and label them haha, I think it took her a month to finish it.
More screenshots uploaded. Many of the insects I found were so small they had to be glued onto paper point-mounts.
Ah intresting I was looking foward to seeing your collection as I have an intrest in insects, aswell as tarantulas and spiders.
