I was thinking, what if a game mode existed that it was everyone against one, however that person had all weapons while everyone else was restricted to paticular weapons. Said person (the juggernaut) would also be able to create more props, and have incresased damage and prop heath depending on how many people the juggernaut would have to face. Obviously this would be subject to nerfing and buffing to make it fair, but it should be relativly easy to program, and i think it would be quite fun. Perhaps the Juggernaut will have access to extra points regarding how many players there are, and he/she may use said points to "buy" his juggernaut abilites, including more damage, more heath higher jumps, increased prop heath, increase prop boiency and increased number of props and more weapons. what do you think of the game mode? perhaps more than one juggernaut? Obviously, like any onter sugestion, it has to be taken into consideration and may not make it into the actual game but i think that it would be quite interesting.
Hey there Greg. I'm actually fairly sure that Bayrock has the code for a very similar round as the one that you suggest, only without the more complex things like the points. A while ago I seem to remember him coming on and forcing a round like this, but I honestly can't remember the exact details of it all, I think that there was something about real player damage, but I can't remember exactly what. I only saw it once or twice. But it seems like a good suggestion, although I do remember the round having a few flaws.
Yeah as @Rick has mentioned.. believe it or not the Juggernaut round already existed but the gameplay did not go as smoothly in-game as it did in theory. With that being said though maybe sometime in the future we can look into spiffing the old event up for a re-release.
We indeed used to have a Juggernaut gamemode. One person got picked as the juggernaut at start of build phase, only he knew about it, not anyone else. When fight began, it became everybody against juggernaut. Juggernaut had a big pointy arrow against him, along with his health at the top of everyones screens. He had like 2000 HP or something. Despite all the visual cues and stuff, people didn't understand jackshit and the juggernaut would just fight like during normal rounds, it became extremly awkward and people hated it.
