What if I don't want to reply to their whole post at once though? When you hit reply it brings up their whole post

 

When your posting a reply you have a few options , choose the quote button and something like this appears [QUOT.E][/QU.OTE] without the dots.

Put something in between those quote boxes and it turns into a quote. For example

If the quote button is not there try hitting the more options button beside post reply or just type it in yourself.

You can also go between where it's says quotes and edit out what you want. It's much easier then adding in the post # and member ID.

 

You are welcome! You should PROBABLY make a new thread so this huge debate isn't on it and we get some new opinions.We all now know that the interactive tutorial is NOT going to be added because of certain restrictions in the source engine and because of the way Flood works.

 

Yes make a new thread, you might want to tag some of the higher-ups to get them involved also.

 

You don't really have to add in the member ID but yeah you could just copy paste the quoted reply and edit out parts that you need as you go, probably more convenient.
