This would solve the skyboat issue for good yes but, have you considered that it might create NEW problems?
How so? If we make it so props within a very limited range could weld and others couldn't like he has been doing, I think it could work out well whereas the realistic boat splitting effect is annoying because when one main prop is destroyed you're entire boat is split into pieces and floats away rendering boats like the catwalk boat useless.
When people move their props during build phase, sometime the welds may stretch and cause props to detach since they aren't touching anymore. This would be super annoying.
If Donk could code it so the welds could stretch, just not be welded in the first place if out of range, then that would be great.
You don't know what you're talking about. Welds stretch.. what? And, as I said, my update is 1 change, but as a sideeffect it creates all the 3 points I wrote there. They aren't 3 individual changes.
