    • Brief description of what happened before you were banned:
    • I understand clearly the rules that go along trucing, but what my team was doing was nothing near trucing. We would say before the round started, "shoot us we shoot you." Never saying you guys don't have to not shoot us, we would just strongly advise against it. It was more of diplomatic friendlyness, instead of trucing. We would never delay the round, the moment it was noone shooting eachother, it was war and we would shoot everyone. Please if you have more questions about our thinking process please feel free to ask. I like this gamemode a lot and enjoy it.

That is still defined as trucing, in the ban request Skittles posted, you guys were clustered together, not shooting each other. It does not matter if you guys say 'shoot me and I don't shoot you' but you have to understand noneothertheless.

We just built a boat and just didn't shoot anyone. Everyone else had the opportunity to shoot us, they just choose not too.
Yes we are close together, but we had our eyes on other people that were a direct threat to us at the moment.

I understand where it could look like we are trucing but we truly weren't. the next round we destroyed that guy right next to us. We play this game a little more tactically than just rampage shooting.

We ignore the people that are not shooting us, and kill the people that are shooting us, because we see the people that are shooting us as a higher threat than the ones that are not.

I am sorry but I disagree with that. I respect you and how you help the community, but I need to disagree with this one.

Killing the people that is a direct threat before we kill the innocent people that aren't shooting us, is not trucing. It's just smart.
I can't shoot everyone in the game at the same time.

I interpret trucing more as a team with team, never going to shoot, if someone else shoots you, ill shoot that person too.

Yes but when both you and the other guy are thinking the same exact thing, you're never going to shoot each other because neither of you are going to start. If everyone decides to play this way there would be no challenge or point. So while you may not realize your trucing, you are.

I disagree. Even if at the start of the round we didn't shoot them, once there is nobody shooting us then we pick our people to sink.

It's just we eliminate the bad guys, then we get on to the people that weren't shooting us. Because we never want to delay a round because that would make it very boring and uneventful.

It's a free-for all with a team max of 4, everybody is a bad guy.

Yes I agree, and anyone can kill us at anytime, it just the threat level of some people are higher, and we have to focus on a certain group before we worry about another group.

I can't shoot everyone at once, If I could I totally would.

It's kind of like would you shoot the guy that has a knife standing 20 ft from you before the guy that's pointing a gun standing 20 ft from you.

eh what? You should be able to play however you want as long as you're attacking the boat of a living person or team. You should be able to kill anyone at anytime with whatever weighing you create for yourself.

Here's how I weigh my opponents. I'll give them a score and the higher the score is, the higher on the target preference list that person/team is. If someone is shooting at me then he gets more points based on the weapon he is using and if he has a really weak boat then he also gains points based on how weak he is because I can take out a damaging foe easily and quickly and worry about him in a later round. If someone right next to me isn't attacking me, then I probably will go for another team who is, and even if there isn't any people attacking me, then I'll just go for that obscure kid in the corner of the map waiting everyone out because I know that if the person next to me has a Para (LMG), then I'm dead. I've already made up my ideal range with all of the weapons anyone can have at any time.

What- no. Here I'll paste what I had said before because I really need everyone to know about the ordeals of weight and such.

I'm actually on @FearFracture side on this one. The rule of trucing is one that is NOT black and white. Sometimes you can easily see that someone is trucing or not. In situations like this however it can be a little less clear. I agree with the notion of "you shoot me I shoot you". When you're in a packed server and you are surrounded by people, You don't want to ignore the people who are shooting at you. Then the people you are shooting at will target you as well. Then you have two teams shooting at you and it's all over then.

Mods need to give some room for this in future decision regarding trucing. I personally define trucing as being intentional truce, not a product of situation. If a team or person is forced to shoot at another apposing team or person because they are being shot at, that doesn't mean they are trucing with the person or team that is closer to them. Now if that first team ignores the team completely for the entire round (as in they target people across the map before them) then yes that definitely is trucing. I agree that the trucing rule is pretty shitty, but not having it makes things worse. I will unban FearFracture since he clearly does know the difference between trucing and simply protecting his boat.
