I'm preparing to upgrade to Windows 10 soon and would like to know what everyone else thinks of it and the pros/cons of it. Any software/games that aren't working? Does your pc run fast or more efficient than Windows 7/8?

Windows 10 is definitely better than Win 8/8.1. Also the way how Windows is activated is changed. You can read more about it here. Basically, if you upgrade your motherboard and you use OEM (pre-installed) Windows, you will have to buy a retail version of Windows. (Also you don't need to buy Windows 10 for it to be usable, the only downside is no personalization and watermark on desktop.)

I have no problems running any software or games.

I plan on upgrading my motherboard and cpu in the coming months, so should I just wait for that upgrade to get win10?

If your current version of Windows has a product key from a OEM PC (you didn't buy a separate/retail copy of Windows), yes you should wait until you install the new parts to upgrade.
