I have installed Ubuntu (not on a live usb for the first time) and I love it already. It seems more fluid and streamlined than Windows. It took me forever (~4-6 hours) to get it installed. I was trying to install 14.04 LTS but it wouldn't show up on boot. Then I realized that version 12.04.5 LTS was the only one compatible with Secureboot on. I couldn't install it with secureboot disabled because boot-repair wouldn't run on Legacy mode. So I was wondering before I get used to Ubuntu, is SteamOS worth installing yet? What is different between the two? Does SteamOS limit any functions that Ubuntu has? #Pit-ified desktop, #installed like a grub
I would have games but I don't accidentally un-installed steam and it got rid of my quick launchers or what ever they are ( Ninite reinstalled it :/ )
