"Cyber-war"The activist hacker group has declared "cybernetic war" against this terrorist groups to get revenge for what happened in Paris. They have taken down Twitter accounts, propaganda videos and websites promoting these terrorist groups. These "hacktivists" have assured that the terrorist attacks will not remain forgoten or unpunished by many statements made by some people from their group. The Islamic state has declared that they will also attack England cybernetically by hacking into power plants, hospitals and even military equipement. This may only be the begining to modern cyber warfare. The counter attacks by the Islamic State will be useless as the group Anonymous is not centered, but spread around the world. I always love seeing anonymous getting involved with this kind of stuff. It's really nice to always see them doing something about what they believe is right, even if it's illegal hacking.
My opinion is that terrorism isn't the place for hacktivists to be poking their heads. Regardless, they'll do as they wish. It'll be interesting to see if anything tangible unfolds.
what they're doing atm with the twitter accounts is jack shit, they're basically just script kiddies that make a shitton of twitter accounts to report ISIS related twitter accounts which forces twitter to close the accounts down i mean i'm not saying it isnt helping because it definitely is but people should know that what they're doing with the "twitter hacks" is incredibly easy, like at this point they're just running a program that does all their dirty work it makes sense considering anonymous isnt really a hacking group with scheduled events like people think they are, it's just anyone who considers the cause (some random person announcing who they're gonna hit next) worth their time and then help with it, so of course there's gonna be amateurs and shit
