I would like to complain about Applcore's spoiler in his signature, whilst he has indeed put it in a spoiler he has not marked it clearly enough imo. Due to spoilers on forums usually being used to reduce how much space is taken up many people could easily mistake it for him having some gifs in there or something. There is absolutely no reason for him to have that spoiler in his signature other than to troll and ruin a new film for those that have yet to see it.

Dawson argued that it was indeed marked in a "spoiler" so it was whoever's fault for clicking it, I completely disagree. As I've said spoilers are rarely used for actually hiding spoilers and it is very easy for somebody to just click it thinking it's a gif or something.

Additionally I used the report function to report the straight up disrespect in his signature but Dawson chose to ignore this.



I have never previously had an issue with applcore but I completely disagree with the shit he has pulled recently.

 

Disrespect is disrespect, it shouldn't be ignored cause its in a spoiler, and you do have a point that there is rarely a spoiler that actually has a spoiler in it.
Its also not clearly said any where that you can do .[spoilr=<text>] to hide a spoiler AND say what the spoiler is (I haven't even seen a place that says how to do spoilers), so spoilers actually in spoilers is hard to avoid.
Example for those who didn't know you could add text to the spoiler button=

As much as I don't want to be involved with this matter and that I don't want this to turn into a dramatic commotion, I am just going to leave this here.

Looking through the forums when I just started out, Rick has played a decent role in the forums especially in Flood during his time as staff. This can be seen evidently through the forums. Even though some staff members may not agree with him and that some of his acts may not be acceptable, I feel that it is mandatory for all staff members to at least show respect for ex-staff members who have helped this community greatly. To post this content as part of his personal profile is disrespectful, since it would mean that all of his work for this community has gone to waste.

I would simply suggest a removal of that portion of his signature. Nothing else.

 

Admittedly I understand that recently I have been very abrasive, and I can understand that many staff members, and community members, may be at the end of their tether with me. But everything I complain about genuinely annoys me and it'd be nice if I could be taken with a pinch of seriousness, just because I'm a bit of a dickhead doesn't mean you need to completely ignore my genuine issues.

 

He only put the Star Wars spoilers to be le edgy rebel!! of devinity like past Ethan since Decap said to stop spoiling Star Wars, literally no other reason. It's fucking blatant, he doesn't include any joke or anything informative other than the actual spoiler. This shit is stupid as fuck, like a child being asked to stop singing so the child starts humming obnoxiously instead to be rebellious. However, honestly though? There's not much we can do about the star wars spoilers since technically there's no rules against it. I think we can only remove it when there's more rules restricting this kind of crap, but it's hard to make rules like that since it could be really nazi.

The main issue is the endless stupidity shit. If Rick is actually offended by it then that part of the signature deserves to be fucking removed. Hell, if this was any other member and the member complained about it and reported it would be removed instantly. I don't care about starting drama or whatever but it's obvious as hell the only reason why that part of the sig hasn't been removed even though Rick complained about it is because it's fucking Rick. The signature MAY be suggesting he's stupid, it's offending him and he literally made a post that said that but no staff member cares. LOL ok. Probably because they agree with it, right?

@Applcore5 no one thinks you're hot shit for having Star Wars spoilers in your sig, just letting you know. Only makes you look like an edgy 10 y/o rebel which is not a good example since you're staff. Even Ethan realized the stupidity of his actions and grew up already. You're also kinda a dick for the Rick shit but whatever. I don't know what's gotten into you but you should probably quit it.

@Dawson fuck off and delete the part that is offending Rick. The rest is up to debate.

 

Perhaps a more professional way of saying stuff like that is needed? We don't need staff telling staff to fuck off its not needed and very unprofessional.

100% agree, makes that person sound un-professional and stupid when they tell someone to fuck of something related, its a community thing and we have been talking about it in a convo, even if they really have nothing to do about it, be nicer about it and tell them something else that isn't 'fuck off'.

 

Wait, so you're saying that when you cause problems, piss people off, troll, and annoy people with your actions then it's just whatever. But when Applcore points out something about you, "Oh he needs to get rid of it and we need to take it seriously". You can be really ignorant sometimes and that's not me trying to get under your skin, that is a fact. Not to mention that you've verbally attacked a lot of people since you left and are usually an asshole towards them. So why should we take him so seriously but you get a slide every time?

This is uncalled for because you don't know what's gone on behind the scenes. I spoke to Appl about his Star Wars spoiler well before this was an issue and instructed him to make sure it was in spoiler tags with Star Wars in it. Idk about you guys, but If I don't want to see a Star Wars Spoiler, I won't click on something that says "Spoiler: Star Wars" in it. If you do that then it is your own fault plain and simple. I said before this whole spoilers thing because a problem that if it's in off topic and/or in spoiler tags that it is ok. There is a rule about spoiler, because I made a rule. Donkie and Bayrock both agreed as well. So if Appl want's to be "edgy" or whatever, so what? Why the fuck should anyone even care about it as long as it's in spoiler tags?

 

Honestly, after observing Rick's behavioral relapses time and time again I've been starting to consider associating them as gestures for attention, however provoking or radical their approaches. I feel incredibly awful if this is genuinely the case, because it speaks bounds about the character and possibly outside nature of one who incites aggravation.

If anything Rick should be smothered with unconditional pity. What underlying event(s) could have possibly happened to him previously to warrant such restlessness?

 

Even if you may not agree with him on his decisions and actions regarding this issue, he is still an Admin in this community. As he is considered your superior, you shouldn't disrespect him at all times and use such derogatory language and tone on him. Your opinion may not be agreeable with his, but at least put it in a civilized manner when expressing it.

 

Simply put, people that behave like children will be handled as such. Upholding mature conversation can accomplish much more than pouting with a quivering lip ever could.
