so currently in the forums we have the daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards representing who has gained the most damage in those timeframes, so instead of having that as a visual thing I think we should add a rewards system to it. How would this benefit the flood servers? It gives players the motivation to keep coming back for a chance at rewards. It will keep players playing for longer each day to work towards that #1 spot. It'd add a more "competitive" aspect to flood, which some people want, in the sense of you're competing each day for a set prize. Why this could possibly be a "bad" idea. People may get "salty" or angry at other users if they do not "win". Prop farmers/trucers would gain more damage making the values of them unfair, but with moderation going on this won't be a "big" problem. It could possibly ruin the economy. Daily Rewards. For getting 3rd place, a reward of $3,000(?). For getting 2nd place, $4,000(?). And for getting 1st place, $5,000(?) Weekly Rewards. For getting 3rd place, $10,000(?). For getting 2nd place, $12,500(?). For getting 1st place, $15,000(?). Monthly Rewards. For getting 3rd place, $25,000(?). For getting 2nd place, $35,000(?). For getting 1st place, $50,000(?). Feedback would be greatly appreciated, I'll also leave a poll up for those who don't want to comment/leave feedback.
I think the prices should be lowered on the last one to like 20k 25k 30k to not damage the economy or make some players too powerful but I like the idea

some of you guys are probably thinking about the daily rewards for just simply logging in. this is a completely different & new idea in regards to rewarding players for hitting x place on the leaderboards. i think the idea is good but the rewards could perhaps be lowered down by a bit.
I don't like any ideas that have to do with weekly or daily rewards. It's something nobody will really care about and if it's not a big reward, nobody will bother with a feature like this.
This doesn't seem like a bad idea at all. I mean you wrote all the negative and positive ideas down. The only negative thoughts i have towards this idea is that it may be a bit too much cash given out, but I certainly think there should be some kind of an award given out to keep players motivated
