A Brief Meeting With the New SuperadminRecently our beloved admin Rick was promoted by Donkie to the rank of Superadmin, so we here at the Devinity Tribune wanted to get a brief taste of what he had in store for our community, now that he has become the highest ranked non founder in Devinity history. Before we get into any of that, we should take a look at who Rick really is. He has been a member of our community since 2014 and has moderated for almost that whole time. But Rick has struggled in the past, leaving staff multiple times until finally settling into place. He is also known for his outspoken nature and will speak his mind to anyone, even the founders. But don’t start thinking that he is all bad, his outspoken nature is matched by his humility and his dedication to the community. We sat down with Rick to ask him a few questions about what he plans on doing while in the new position and one thing stuck out. We asked what his 90 day plan was, and this is what he said: “I plan to deal with problems as they come.” I feel this shows that he isn’t planning on rocking the boat any time soon. Just as he has slowly climbed up the ranks throughout the years, this new change isn't going to cause Rick to act out of nature, as of course, he is Devinity's community manager and is always there to help and critique, regardless of what role is before his name. Anime Review: Violet EvergardenThe fairly new Netflix original: Violet Evergarden is today’s topic. Violet Evergarden is a novel-turned-tv series by Kyoto Animation that features 13 episodes surrounding the character Violet Evergarden. Violet is a war veteran who through a series of events lost her arms in combat. She struggles through the series to find out the true meaning of love, and hunts down her MIA Major from when she lost her arms. This show is full of breathtaking cinematography and a vivid color palette that aids the emotion throughout the show. Our own admin Counter has been quoted as saying “I cried so many times… both weebs and non-weebs should watch this show.” All together we rate this show a 9-10 and would highly recommend to anyone even if most anime isn’t your thing due to the wonderful dub and limited episode count.
