Hello there all, I'm sure a lot of us have stumbled across the 'Stats' bar at the top of the page, and found the information on there pretty interesting. I mean, I thought I'd destroyed 3 million props on my own, but y'know maybe I get a little ahead of myself Anyway, on with the suggestion. With the new implementation of the GUI screen showing the end-round stats, I personally find it a great feature to compare myself with others. What would make this better, was if all this information was then forwarded to somewhere that we can view on the forums, specifically in the stats area. It would appear as some sort of leader-board, showcasing player stats in a range of different types. Here's an idea I threw together of what it could look like. The leader-board would not be limited to these either, you could also include Money (Current and Total earned) and even things like Deaths and Damage Taken. There are plenty of things that could be added to this. You would also have the ability to sort the highest players in terms of each category. Hopefully this is possible, and I'm sure it is judging by the current Stats page and the fantastic developers we have. Please provide any feedback and suggestions for this to be changed/improved!
Personally I am all for this. It could potentially encourage competitive game play and give players an incentive to carry on playing in order to improve their stats.
@Donkie is away for the next couple days but when he gets back maybe he will be interested in helping me get something like this into our forum or the current stats page. I like the idea but am not sure how many forum members would utilize it as opposed to the time it may take to implement. We have had the 'major idea' of in-game leaderboards in the past but never got around to that yet. If those were ever implemented to the server it would be great to see them reiterated on the forums too similar to how you've suggested.
Yeah, as Bayrock said, I suggested something similar to this although only showing the top players for each section, and I think that Jaguar summed up all of the positives for it. Great suggestion josh, keep them coming.
