Any suggestions for Flood Tournament Season #2? We could still improve it. Gun limitations: limited amount of guns or specific guns in the tournament. Perhaps amount of players (i. e. 2 people in team gets 4 guns while one person gets 5 guns) Announcer: A guy that can narrate and spectate as the fight goes on. Video Series: edited videos that have the actual representation as a world sports series Tournament map: A map that looks very identical on both sides to avoid any advantages (we probably have that) Feel free to make any suggestions, or to critique me.
There probably won't be a serious flood tournament anytime soon... The flood tournament that's currently going on is just something that Jeffrey is hosting and giving away prizes for. It's not like an official tournament it's just something that makes things a little less stale about flood. The tournament was just for fun and it turned out really poorly because players don't actually want to 1v1 in flood as it's quite boring imo. We were recording the matches that went on, so far like all 2 or 3 that actually took place were recorded and planned to be in a video, but idk how that's gonna work. Making an entire map seems a little pointless for something like this plus it's not really an easy thing to do. We'd have to lock one of our flood servers just to throw that map on for 2-3 rounds. If people even want to take part this time.
This is precisely why I asked @alex98pl to create this thread. "If" we do a second tournament, it can greatly benefit from your guys suggestions. Currently I can't see a 2nd tournament happening but if there is enough interest, then maybe. I can really only host these during major breaks, like xmas and summer break. Team tournaments and other special types of tournaments are able to happen but that "really" depends on what you guys want to see.
I believe we do have a Random Weapon event with infinite ammo Bazooka in it. Not sure if people will want to play the tournament (not an event, wrong thread?) where each match lasts 30 seconds though.
We do have an event exactly like that. It's only during one weapon round. Also, it can be done but I don't think it would be popular.
