ETA: 6/14/2016 - 9PM EST (Ended) Me and a few friends plan on doing a "ghost hunt" around our local area. We will be visiting a cemetary (Perhaps multiple) in hopes of capturing some weird stuff. We don't actually expect to catch anything "paranormal" nor do we think the said "cemeteries" are actually haunted. This is something we just want to do for some fun. Anything we find will be posted here. Regardless on whether or not we actually do find something, there will be some cool photos to look at . Below is all of the equipment we plan on bringing. Update! (6/15/2016 1:00AM EST) We went to the graveyard. We found out quite quickly that this grave site is home to many war veterans. They all seem to have fought in different wars as you will see from the photos. It's a relatively small grave site so we didn't say more than an hour or so. Nothing interesting or strange happened while we were there so I decided to make the best of it by taking a few pictures for you guys. All of these were taken in complete darkness. We only had one working flashlight, so it was interesting. I didn't bother doing much else than take photos and a little bit of video because it is late and we all have work tomorrow. Perhaps we can revisit this in the future. Crew (current) Me My friend Lee My friend Jonathan Equipment (current) 2x thermal cameras (for detecting changes in the atmosphere/surrounding) 2x Android phones (Dedicated to operating the thermal cameras) 1x Iphone (Used for both visible light photos and EVP/Electronic voice phenomenon) 1x Laptop (Justin Case a larger screen is necessary) Photos This is one of the first headstones we found. I thought the photo came out really nice A random flag ornament that we found near a very large crucifix. This is the large crucifix I was talking about. You can see there are multiple flags near the ground which tell us what the person was honored for. Here is a photo that I thought came out really cool. This was as we were leaving. To be continued! Need to wake up in a few hours for work. I have plenty more photos to post.
Update: I am leaving shortly to go scout out the area. It will only be me so don't expect too much. I'll see if I can't snap a few photos in the meantime. Then you can get an idea on what to expect. It also seems that I may be possibly be visiting multiple cemeteries tomorrow. Tonight I will only be visiting ONE because that is the closest one and I can drive there on my ATV. Tomorrow I plan on walking so we will have MORE than just some headstone photos.
Don't you think it's a wee bit disrespectful to go to a place where people mourn the dead, and then make it a fun and happy experience for your own personal entertainment?
I'm quite a bit behind schedule at the moment, so this will probably be postponed to about 12AM EST. I'm leaving now to meet up with everyone and plan things out.
