Modification Give Platinum more features.

As the title says. Right now, the only advantages platinum has over gold is access to the songlist and more tokens/cash. It would be fine if platinum was only slightly more expensive than gold, but platinum is $20 more than gold. I doubt anyone would want to pay $20 for access to a songlist.

I suggest we split up the features of gold and platinum and give gold a few less features and give those to platinum (unless some really good ideas for new features for VIPs is added, I'd love to hear those as well) or just combine gold and platinum and get rid of one entirely. Personally, I'm more in favor of the first option.

Feedback would be appreciated.

That is what "force event" happens to do lol. Force event is the admin command that lets them do it for like testing purposes, platinum players I bet would love this so they can play their favorite event while they're on.

 

The second option would be in my opinion, better.
As you said bagels, the only advantages platinum has over gold is access to the song list and more tokens/cash.
And as a player, playing for more cash and a song list isn't attractive.
Some of the gold players may be upset because they'll lose what they have paid to have.
The second option may be more " respectful and reasonable " towards gold players.

 

Keep in mind that Devinity is not the type of community that is bloodthirsty for donations. The reason we don't give pay-to-win benefits is because that's not the type of server we're looking to have, our donators are supposed to be people who are trying to support us not ones who are just looking to get ahead in the game. However I do feel we should reward our current Platinum supporters a little more, I'd say we should be looking for more the cosmetic type of items though.

@SilverMario i suggested something like that about a week ago. I don't feel they should be able to force though, maybe just vote for specific rounds. We don't want them overriding admin commands

 

It's not something that would be that big of a deal, since the least bought rank right now is platinum. It's nice to just force a round once/twice a day to play events you like instead of having to vote for an event because chances are people won't like the event. But implementing voting for specific rounds would be a nice perk for platinum players.

 

I agree on the force event stuff. I'm just not sure if we really should have a vip rank cost fucking 50$

Have you seen the chart of how many platinum players there are? Also $50 is absured for a rank that just gives more server economy and just song requests. We need to either give more perks (Like forcing 2 events per day) or lower the price of it.

It's once or twice a day, they dont have to know that a platinum player forced it, and I have no clue how to abuse it. Just disable allowing to use it if a random event was voted on for the next round or an event is coming up in the next round.
