Well, when you play Flood for long, it gets kinda boring and repetitive. But it's fun to play sometimes.
I like the idea but will we lose our current gear.? and will it be a fresh restart where we lose everything at once and start fresh
I think there is a great idea and has lots of potential. Maybe there could be weapon and equipment upgrades that are unlocked from doing challenges and other stuff!
@Bayrock has said in the past that he doesn't intend on ever resetting everything (Money, weapons, skins ect). I can't say for sure if its still true or if it will change in the near or distant future. The reason the last reset happened was due to a hardware failure at NFO. There was little recoverable data and what was left was probably corrupt. Since then, everything is actively backed up. There was one other instance where people lost data and I think thats when Devinity first decided to store everything on MySQL.
I don't think more farming would be better. We need to at least add more things that would give advantages that requires more play time. Even if it's just one map doesn't mean people won't play on it that long. I do have to admit there should some type of progression. Like maybe leveling system that could unlock new weapons and props.
They give huge disadvantage to new players compared to ones who has 'all of the unlockables'. (Can be slightly viewed as P2W)
They don't have to be some op item they can do the same damage, but just different from regular weapons.
