I'm assuming you mean Noragami the show spends 3/4 of its total airing time developing one character, and it tries to develop him from an angst teenage upset loser to a more optimistic kiddo, and it's ok for the most part but it spends way too much time on him and because of that all the other characters lack proper characterization and development it's also bland as fuck, the only reason why I watched it is because the main characters voice actor is godly, I'll give it that much also they reuse the same battle transformation sequence every time, shonen-esque

actually wrote this one up last year- chars- -Aang is Naruto. i mean, come on, seriously -Katara literally serves to be a romantic love interest mary sue and a potential damsnel in distress with no other purpose, and she has a forgettable personality. -Zuko is edgemasta629 complete with the fuckin scar, but at least his dev was handled decently I guess? -Sokka is stereotypical comic relief loser who is effectively talentless, also cucked like 2 girls -Iroh, typical anime old man who actually knows a ton and can fuck shit up if they're being serious (shonen-esque) -literally all the enemies in the show are horribly contrived, two dimensional as fuck, boring and some are just walking cliches. their purpose is seriously "deSTROY THE WORLD! GO FIRENATION!"- they're all horribly written and have unbelievable motives, not that hard to make villains that aren't complete dickheads for the sake of being dickheads general- the nations other than the fire nations are insanely naive for not having any military, old earthbending faggot showed up out of fucking nowhere and in general ill contrived, theres some other female characters that want to bone the fuck out of sokka but serve no other purpose other than making sokka look cooler, all other characters are forgettable, except toph, she's pretty cool and inb4 "omg it's a kids show, chill out," not realizing that naruto, bleach, and all these other shonen are technically kids shows too and completely viable to criticism. shitting on frozen is apparently taboo because it's "a kids movie", despite it catering to practically all ages this show is praised as a miracle and people say it's far better than anything in the anime industry, which is retarded, considering its essentially naruto but for westerners and don't even get me started on fucking korra, what probably pisses me off the most is how it directly paints what is moral and what isn't, despite non-benders being clearly unequal i'd also like to point out that i dont consider avatar an anime, because my definition of an anime is a cartoon made in japan with the distinct art style . avatar has a different art style than all anime, and if you disagree you probably haven't watched enough

jesus christ lads, this thread is supposed to be one animu per, contrary to popular belief i have a life ill do short ones and skip some asspulls galore, suzaku is the type of jew who would support hitler and be a nazi, everyone is anorexic- terrible character designs, like the worst ever, random misplaced fanservice, why is this still trying to be a high school show, ridiculous cliffhangers at the end of each episode, shit pacing, lelouch is retarded sometimes, jibun wo sekai ichi jesus christ no game no life- otaku pandering show filled with ass pulls and fan service fate- read the vn (still p poor) btoom!- ill contrived shitfestival, characters are straight up retarded, stop yelling akame ga kill- so bad its good, edge is real, all characters are shit, comic relief timing is shit, directing is shit, plot is shit, art is shit, everything is shit, mangas far better but mangas still shit as well fuck this show charlotte- another so bad its good, except its even worse than akame ga kill, because at least the characters in agk are somewhat consistent- in this show, the shitty characters seriously forgot who they are 3/4 of the time as well; this is one of the most braindamaging shows i've watched, one filled with plotholes, deus ex machina, cringe, melodrama, seriously any writing flaw you can think of, this show has it all it's actually interesting how they managed to make a show so devoid of thought charlotte was last year's summer- that was one of the worst seasons of anime of all time, seriously. nothing even slightly redeemed it.
i'd like to remind people that this thread exists, and the shows on it i highly recommend to anyone regardless of how new they are to anime, because they're actually good bahamut chronicle- dumbshit harem with one of the worst characters ever, like all of them are direct archetypes picked from a pot, i dropped it because i didnt want to hurt my noggie that was pretty recent, i think it came out along with erased. which btw was and could still be the most overrated show other than attack on titan on the planet
