one picture is all thats needed in all seriousness it's made by gainax/shaft which is a crazy combo, i should probably check this out a bit nagiasu done already shinsekai yori- yuri sucks "good harems" is an oxymoron, but monogatari if you consider that a harem and the world god only knows (might want to read the manga anyway, it skips a pretty good arc)
already did way before in general, the manga is a better medium for most of the jokes (and has better art anyway), only 12 eps (rip a lot of good shit), cancer fanbase who takes the show seriously as a result of madhouse overdoing saitama's serious face- as a result, the audience doesn't understand saitama isn't supposed to be an "epic" character or some shit, probably one of the only things ONE didn't want the audience to misinterpret in short anime takes it a bit too seriously, which makes the shitty fanbase do as well, and most of the jokes only work in manga form (example: playing with the bubbles) and anyway the comic atm is going to shit, using shonen tropes unironically and whatnot all good things come to an end
the characters are all beyond retarded, the mystery aspect is awful, the death scenes are so overly-exaggerated and ridiculous just for shock value (plus the show takes itself seriously) also shitty eyepatch moeblob waifubait, at least rikka was cute

literally naruto except western, and white people use "oh its not a REAL anime" to justify watching it/deluding themselves into pretending like they dont enjoy anime every character is an anime archetype (le epic friends r powerful protag, useless love interest, male womanizer comic relief character, etc) other than toph, who was admittedly a decent character the ending is retardedly anticlimatic and consists of naruto going into kyuubi mode to win after getting his ass beat trash cliched as hell etc etc korra is far worse, how anyone can still watch that nonsense is beyond me tl;dr naruto for white people who are pretending like they dislike anime the worst second half of all time, fuck the chocolate bar guy, ass pull: the gathering, every character other than the protagonist sucks and i genuinely cant remember any of them other than the epic contrived yandere (literally)
