PROPOSAL: Make some of the already existing weapons do penetration damage. GENERAL DETAILS AND STATISTICS: The Harpoon will penetrate one prop and should do somewhere around 50 damage, doing 25 damage to the second prop after penetration, this damage is reasonably high because the harpoon is relatively hard to aim, and lots of times just bounces off the boat rather than latching onto it, it also has a high reload time. The Deagle will do 7 damage upon hitting the first prop and will do 4 damage to the second prop after penetration totaling 11 damage, we should maybe increase the cost of the Deagle some. ________________________________________________________________________ I am open to feedback and suggestions about this idea, thank you.
I believe the golden gun should also penetrate because of the high cost (40000) and low ammo (4). It could do 1/4 damage on first prop then 1/8 damage on the second prop.

I disagree with the harpoon penetrating, during a round if you use the harpoon to bring yours closer to another it could break the prop instead and you may run out of ammo in it.
To bring your boat closer to someone else's you could easily harpoon the wall behind their boat, if you felt like doing damage, then you would aim for their boat.
Yes to the deagle getting a penetration buff, no I don't agree with a price rise as it is already a very bad weapon. Raising the price will pretty much nullify any usefulness this buff will add. Slow firing speed, huge recoil, ect. No I don't agree the harpoon should receive a damage buff. Its usefulness is beyond most weapons already. It's more of a tool than a weapon. Good idea though.
+1 The deagle should deal some collateral damage because it's I literally never see anyone use it so it would actually encourage people to try it out. I also think the awp should deal 10 damage on first hit but then also deal collateral damage by penetrating props because it is a very powerful weapon and it should be able to do that. I also like the idea of the golden gun penetrating prop's , that would be a cool little feature
The SVU does way more damage then the AWP in total and in a faster time. It has way more bullets and way higher rate of fire making it more effective then the AWP . Damage output alone does not make a weapon effective. I did say to reduce the initial damage as to make it balanced.
I'd say: 1. The AWP does more damage 2. If you are sniping at something small and far away (which is usually what you're sniping at), you're going to be firing the weapons at about the same fire rate 3. More damage at about the same rate means it is more effective in most sniping scenarios
In terms of raw damage output the SVU has way more potential than the AWP. I understand what you trying to say , that at a long distance you have to precisely aim to shoot smaller targets but the SVU has so little recoil that if you are skilled enough you can still beat the AWP at long range targets. I'm saying this because I've experienced it first hand and I know what I'm talking about. Try it for yourself.
I believe that the shotgun should also penetrate, but instead of the bullets doing ten damage they would only do 7 and the bullets that penetrate would do 4 damage.
