Some have asked this question in the past but to be honest I lied about my name. Originally I said it was Alex but in fact its something else that was simply in my forum name all along, when in fact the reason why I have my name as StormSniper is because when my mom was pregnant with me there was a tornado that came through our town and wiped out our house while we were in the cellar, this was when we were living in Oklahoma. We now live in Oregon due to that reason. When I was born I was named Storm due to that tornado that ruined our house and ruined our lives. Hence the name StormSniper. So all along my name was Storm, and when I was told that story from my parents it really touched me, and I did not want to speak about it to anyone until now. So thats pretty much how I got my name as StormSniper.
does that mean they named you after that because you ruined your house and their lives? no offense intended because that sounds like a dick move from your parents
Uhh no I don't see why that has to do anything with it. A tornado came through and almost killed my parents, the story is they were wondering what they wanted to call me since I was coming in about a month, so when that incident happend they thought that would fit me. Yea I sorta ruined they're lives with Anime so I guess you could say that, but not in the way your saying.
It's a matter of perspective. Perhaps through all that terror the tornado caused whilst this fine lad was in the womb they kept reminding themselves that despite the current devastating situation, there is light, there is hope and there is good things awaiting: they will be having a child soon. Perhaps the name signifies that even through the darkest of times, there's always a shining light waiting for you when you get out of it. Also a very cool and original name. Be proud of your name.
I got my name because I was undecided on a username that I could stick with. I originally was called Deceit. I thought that it wasn't a name I could stick with. I went searching for a new name, far and wide, across deserts, plains, grasslands, jungles... No avail. Until one day, it dawned on me. The search for a name isn't found by how hard I look for one, it's found with pure creativity. Actually... I don't know how I came up with the name. Probably some halloween related thing I guess.
