Just goes to show how shitty our internet is here. This is my home internet, much better than work but still not as good as Donkie's.
ikr wtf mine is about 100 mbps but donkies is just crazy we aren't even on that level here yet max you can get here is 200 right now.
Had I paid for the internet myself, it'd be some stupid like $150 a month, but it's included in my rent.
Because we live in a monopoly where companies like Time Warner and Comcast force 60 mbps under the ruse that it's the fastest there is. @Donkie is your internet publicly owned or does a company own it? I know down in Chattanooga they have publicly owned fiber optic internet that is the fastest in the country.
I recently started exceeding 'data limits' for my internet plan, so I'll have to upgrade this month. Why is my ISP charging me for bandwidth..? I agree with @Decap on the monopoly comment. This was never an issue until now. edit: It's not because @Donkie lives in Sweden. You can see his test states 'Faster than 99% of SE.' He's just in a kick ass location. Here's my speed test after upgrading to a slightly better plan: Still considering upgrading to the 150Mb/s plan, but this will do for now. This test was run while streaming a movie also.
Is this good?? i mean it's decent right?.. this is why i was watching youtube on my dual monitor and on the server ... I like to multitask.
