We should have a feature where whenever you run out of ammo for a weapon, that weapon will disappear from your hotbar for that round. The weapon would disappear only after you switch out of it. This would help players that use the fast weapon switch setting and switch weapons quickly without all the empty weapons clogging the hotbar.
I like this suggestion, and I'd be glad to add this sort of feature with the next patch. I'll note this in our repo now. update: I've implemented this feature and it'll be pushed with the next patch.
